Just thinking aloud...If the black box can withstand a very heavy impact and fire, then aircraft manufacturers should embed each passenger's seat with a black box enough to contain a person (probably pop out from below in emergencies) with inbuilt oxygen, that can equally withstand heavy impact and fire.

Aircraft with this facilities may be more expensive like we have bullet proof cars. But I think they can do it.

What about the passenger deciding to visit the toilet at the time of the impact or eating their delicious airline meals?

Or this special suit would be carried everywhere and worn at all times on board?.... grin

grin grin

The pilot would have announced emergency and advise everyone to get into the box/tube...passengers would be trained on how to use the box/tube before boarding the plane.

It won't be a suit but a pop up case/tube enough to occupy a person attached to every sit.

The Case/capsule/tube may be detachable, hence the passengers provide their physique info as at when purchasing tickets. Their info is then used to attach appropriate sizes to their seats grin

Give it a more couple of months or thereabout the heightened fright mode will start to lessen.

This is not the first air plane crash to make constant headline news. I guess it's because this particular plane is new and there were different countries delegates who were killed in this plane crash.

People are still flying as we speak and will continue to take flights to places that only means to getting there on time is by flying.
