The member representing Aba South state constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly Hon. Clinton Emmauel Ebere has dumped the All Progressive Grand Alliance for the Peoples Democratic Party.

Ebere who won the seat on the platform of APGA in the 2015 general election said he cannot continue with the party because of the leadership crisis at its National, state and local government chapters.

Abia Breaking News gathered, early hours today, 1st June 2017, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) suspended Hon. Clinton Ebere.

We learnt that the lawmaker, was suspended for alleged anti-party activities in a statement, signed by Rev. Augustine.

It will be recalled that Ebere had earlier defected from the PDP to APGA to contest the state Assembly seat in the run up to the 2015 general election.
The law maker, who was the deputy minority leader in the state Assembly before his defection, added that he joined the PDP which has a stable leadership in the state to enable continue with his political career....[READ MORE]

Hon. CLINTON with of the PDP did you decamp to?

Someone that couldn't win PDP primaries ticket but decamped to APGA and picked their ticket and won the election because the entire Aba is APGA stronghold.

He performed excellently in his constituency and was loved by both gods and men and that deceived him into decamping back to PDP thinking he will retain his seat.

But unfortunately, an unknown guy won the election. APGA is a movement in Aba, even if they field a goat, Aba people will vote for them.

Aba people love Ojukwu die and Ojukwu love Aba people die.

That guy is a fool, he won Aba South while Ossy Prestige won Aba South/North in the Federal house, he decamped to PDP and lost while Ossy remained at APGA and won re-election.

The guy that decamped and lost is a son of the soil while Ossy that retained his seat is not even from Aba but even from another Senatorial district yet he won.

If you are contesting anything in Aba just know that anything outside APGA is dead on arrival.

The current Governor resides in Aba but he lost both Aba North and South though he was re-elected.

Aba is pro-ngwa unlike Aba South that is made up of about 70% non-indigenes.

I like Ikpeazu sha but he should do more for Aba
