As far as I am concerned the best thing we can do is to take up the late prof's advice and work towards reforming Nigeria's legislature.

Reduce the incentives in political positions and see elections conducted free and fair. Leadership should come with responsibilities and not regarded as an avenue to make money.
Africa should have its own style of democracy and not copy everything. One legislative house is enough for the country.

Kaiii... that was an extremely powerful response, 'immoral and amoral allowances!!' Would have been nice to see Ben's response to this.

The Nigerian parliament is the largest single gathering of immoral unpatriotic rogues. Not a single one of those fellows should try speaking about patriotism. People like Mr Bruce will try to exonerate himself though cos he will claim he at least spoke publicly agains the crazy allowances.

Ben Bruce has only a few more days as a legislator.

Nigerians should demand proper legislative work from their local representatives and not their persistent wish to usurp and sabotage.
