From my observation Rivers state has got the second highest percentage of APC members in the South South after Edo.

Rivers APC is about 35 percent compared to about 65 percent Rivers PDP, which is really not enough to win the Governorship.

A significant number of Rivers PDP supporters are the thugs/criminals/millitants/agboros and street guys in the state.

A significant number of Rivers APC supporters at the elites/educated/enlightened.


Amaechi and the Rivers APC still feel a sense of injustice from the events of 2015 featuring Joseph Mbu, Patience Jonathan and Nyesom Wike.
Rivers APC really suffered oppression and battery during the 2015 polls.

Those events sowed the seed of discord in Rivers state.

What really happened in Rivers State? The Federal Government and d commander in chief of d armed forces rotimi amechi,sent soldiers to Rivers State. D soldiers came in more than 40 trucks. D day D soldiers came into Rivers State, d caused a lot of traffic at Oyigbo, d took over d road and did not allow other motorist to move untill all their vehicles passed. D soldiers shot at will directly at voters, killed as many as they cud. D soldiers drove voters away and carried election materials, d soldiers wrote the results and made sure d results were announced. D soldiers held a lot of INEC officials hostage both in INEC offices and at polling both across the states.

the problem we have in this country is the inability to say the truth ,may be because of what you are going to benefit or otherwise still make me they wonder ,how on earth do u think AAC will defeat PDP in rivers state ,better will call a spade ,spade. party that did not have manifesto ,no campaign office, no poster ,no bill board, but courtesy of Nigerian army /ameachi ,the result was manipulated in favour of AAC and people did not come out and condemn it ,the same military will surely cause havoc to our electoral process in the future if not condemn now

How can you say such? If I may ask you, who voted for AAC in Rivers state? Who is their governorship candidate? Who are their house of assembly candidates? How is it that PDP won in all the 21 house of assembly members so far declared was won by PDD? Can you vote PDP as house of assembly and later vote for AAC as governor? Ok, why is it that when AAC agents were asked to produce the units and ward results by the people that INEC sent to rivers state to find out what really happened? My dear, Rivers State is PDP and PDP is Rivers State. Whatever Amaechi like, he should do, but know that no other party can win rivers state. No matter the intimidation by military men, Rivers State must vote PDP. He could not deliver Buhari during the presidential election, is it governorship election that he will deliver?

It is funny the way none residents are the ones shouting that AAC won. If AAC won at first then they will win a rerun, why are you scared. If all was well, INEC would have no reason to suspend all proceedings.

Dude must be brain dead... I wonder how these APC people reason at times... How possible is it for a candidate of AAC who didn't do campaign, whose poster was not seen in any part of rivers state, whose party never recorded a significant vote during the presidential elections, whose name has never been heard on the media (electronic and print media), who has never granted any interview before the elections, who has never headed any known organization could come up to win a state governorship election in rivers state!
This one na serious America wonder... Amaechi and his Buratai Soldiers should just give up on this... For it is easier for a Carmel to walk through the eyes of a needle than for Amaechi and his adopted son from AAC to win wike in rivers state...
