Same news being repeated over and over

Imagine enemy of this country always feel bad when criminals are prosecuted. Your madam stole another 2.4 billion from Nigeria treasury and not the first 1 billion that has been permanently forfeit. You are so depressed that your criminal madam is being convicted for steeling our money. This is more reason Nigeria can never grow

It is a taboo to use his name to describe some wicked opportunistic parasites in or out of Nigeria government.

I think this woman exposes Jonathan corrupt administration to the masses more during his presidential campaign with her unguarded utterances.

Wife of the supposed hero of democracy. Another 4 years for their family would have spelt doom for the country. Instead of her to go court and mention those that wired the money to her accounts, she's moving from one court to another. She should just please move next to lawn court or tennis court. If it were another woman from North or South West, these people that doen't use their brain but heart will start raining abuses on her but now they kept mum.

Ade Adesomoju, Abuja

The Supreme Court on Friday affirmed another order of interim forfeiture made by the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court in respect of the sum of N2.4bn allegedly traced to the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mrs. Patience Jonathan.

The apex court, had barely a week ago, affirmed an interim forfeiture of the sum of $8.4m belonging to the ex-First Lady and directed her to return to the Federal High Court in Lagos to show cause why the fund should not be permanently forfeited to the Federal Government.

On Friday, in a separate appeal, a five-man bench of the apex court unanimously handed down a similar verdict on another sum of N2,421,953,522 in the bank account of Lawari Furniture and Bath Limited, a firm which the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had linked to Mrs. Jonathan.

Lawari Furniture and Bath Limited had, through its lawyers, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), filed the appeal to challenge the January 12, 2018 judgment of the Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal, which had affirmed the interim forfeiture order of the Federal High Court in Abuja in respect of the N2.4bn.

I wonder what FFK and Reno Omokri will say about the unfinished money of our billionaire civil servant disgraced former first lady?

Mike Ozekhome, the lawyer who has made his wealth defending looters and thieves, yet he laments about Nigeria not working.

Even before Jonathan became president , patience Jonathan has been found to have been involved in criminal money laundering activity, but all of those financial misconduct, no matter how grievous and gross it was, were quietly swept under the carpet by the then PDP led EFCC. So for her to have been striped of this unexplained funds doesnt come to me as a surprise. It is well with Nigeria

And how many former first ladies have had their money forfeited? How many has been taken to court? Mr corruption defender, your mama peace had a case with EFCC even before becoming first lady.

I keep wondering if it isn't the same patience Jonathan who was linked to 2 separate cases of money laundering/ smuggling whilst Jonathan was governor of Bayelsa.

This mindset of yours is the problem of the country. People like you would linch a man who stole a tuber of yam and set him on fire and rather defend the corrupt politicians who have stolen money meant for developing your community.
Abacha wife should have been probed by the previous government.
If those past first ladies were corrupt what stopped GEJ from going after them?
