Producer of Behind the Clouds is just 52? That means he wasn't up to 19 when he was producing the soap. Hmmmmm

RIP to him.

Wow.......Behind the Clouds.....Supple Blues.....Ripples........Checkmate........and the oldest of them all......Mirror in the Sun!

Nigeria had wonderful soaps before we became addicted to Telemundo and Zeeworld.

I love the show and the opening theme as well. Always in my head even till today. Same goes for "Koko Close" by late Olumide Bakare. sad

Man, you should be in your 40s.

Koko close song was by Chris Okotie.
Nice drama then.

The producer of `Behind the Clouds’, Paul Emema, died at 52 after a brief illness.
The producer, who is known for producing soap operas like ‘Behind the Clouds’ and ‘Supple Blues’, was confirmed dead on March 12.

According to Pulse, Mr Emema’s death was announced by one of his friends and colleague, Francis Onwochie in a message.

“Yesterday, I received a call from Ada, his long-time business development officer.

“I called Mahmood Ali Balogun, our mutual friend and we both visited his house last night at Ago Palace Way Okota,” Mr Onwochie said.

Mr Emema a scriptwriter, director, and producer, whose ailment was undisclosed, in time, became a point of reference in film making.

His death is coming eight days after the death of Tony Anyasodo, who passed away on March 7.
The producer’s death makes it the sixth in Nollywood in recent times.

May his soul RIP.

Behind the Clouds and Checkmate were the best soaps I followed back in the days.

I think the demise of the character 'Nosa' ended that popular soap
Re: Paul Emema Is Dead by MyMouth(m): 3:38am On Mar 16, 2019
Feeling bad right as I remember Nosa's death, it really touched everyone then, they programme jus fell apart shortly after then. I remember vividly how everyone was watching to see how his mother was going to break the news to nosa's father who had been away for a very longtime, I still remember how the man after eating the food served by his wife looked asked her "where is Nosa"?it was soooooo touching and emotional for everyone then. The suspense can be compared to when everyone was waiting to see if Jon Swow was alive after he was attacked by his men of the night watch. I remember how I felt very bad then even as a kid.
