Earthquake2:I don't support or defend corruption, but i will suggest the U.S and U.K should leave naija/Africa the hell alone, they are part of our problems, they keep advertising our corrupt cases, and keeping theirs confidential thereby tarnishing the image of Naija/Africa, how about them denying all corrupt officials visas to their country, how about arresting corrupt officials who tries to buy property in their countries, i tell you one thing, if the world refuses to accept Nigeria corrupt monies, our corruption levels will drop, once officials notice they can't take the money outside Naija they will rethink, the west keeps shouting corruption, yet they keep accepting corrupt proceeds, that's bull crap, if they deny 80% of senators visas, my brother every politician will have a rethink............if the west can't help poor Nigerians in the first against corruption, they should go to where my grandfather is....the grave. |

Earthquake2:It's not about defending corruption, especially when most don't even know what the word means! We talk about corruption as if it's done by aliens from outerspace! We even considered holding our noses and electing as president an individual who smells (if not stinks) of corruption! Is it not I who has to be corrupt in thinking, reasoning and acting that brings corruption into being? If I don't want corruption then I should stop being corrupt in my thinking, reasoning and acting. Otherwise, I'm just deluding myself by building upon the sand! |

aremuforlife:Focus on the message and not the messenger. Corruption is still rampant. Biggest proof of this is the police. Also. policies such as the multiple exchange rates are new sources of corruption including new import bans which is am implicit license to collect bribes from smugglers. Buhari scores an F9 in this fight. |

The same US government investigated ahiefKulooter for money laundering and financial crimes and strongly concluded that he violated their laws, they banned him from their country for 12 years, but after hiring a US lobbyist and a friend of the their president with $90,000 per month retainer, they issued him a waiver to enter the US instead of arresting him for crimes committed against the US, but because of government corruption, they let him slide. the current US government is the most corrupt in the history of mankind, I don't even know where to start from |

Truth is Buhari is incompetent. Bottom line is both Buhari and atiku are thieves. Anyone who believes that there is a magic leader who will come tomorrow and vanquish corruption is in LaLa land! This is because this country and its people thrive in corruption. Babangida was the first to understand that that Nigerians do not hate corruption...they just want to be part of it! This is where apc supporters now get it wrong. Buhari will not do squat with regards corruption, likewise Atiku. The only difference is while one will cover his complete incompetence under the cloak of fighting corruption while the economy remains in a state of comatose, the other will be forward thinking and more progressive in driving the economy forward. In summary, both are thieves, but one is brain dead and has nothing progressive to offer, while the other is more business & investment minded |

Their people have the highest number of people killing themselves to relocate to US,Canada,UK,Ireland e.t.c,yet are here talking rubbish as if they can even feed themselves.. Being an APC zo,bie is a curse. |

deomelo:I beg to differ. All nations are corrupt. This is because corruption is an off shoot of greed which is human nature. The only difference between us and the rest of the word is how "pervasive", "normal", "extensive" our own corruption is. From the SUG president who embezzles funds allocated for student related activities, to the local government charman who is none existent, to the civil servant who resumes work at 12 pm and closes by 2pm and does not attend to you till he sees a brown envelop, to the teacher/lecturer asking for money before you can get a " ", to the police man asking for fuel money before he can come to a crime scene to the driver who drives without a license because he knows 50 naira will settle any police check point. The problem with Nigeria isnt necessarily government (cos that has always been changing). The problem with Nigeria is Nigerians. Now if America does not have corruption as pervasive, encompassing, and perceptual as what i listed above, it is ilogical to say they are the most corrupt in history America's corruption dey learn work where our own dey. |

Islie:Quite unfortunate that this report is coming a bit too late. This report won't save Nigerians of the troubles ahead. Nigeria is already on the next level ride? Have a jolly one one... Well, lemme not throw away the beacon of hope in the judiciary. If they can be impartial and give a fair judgement. Not afraid to stand their ground, just maybe we don't have to suffer for long else, Nigerians are on their own |
