Write about what people are actively searching for.
For example, on new year's eve, I used Google Trends to find out what people were actively searching for on Google. The result was "new year's eve memes.

I wrote an article around that keyword and used alternate text around that keyword for all my images so I can be found on Google image search and I had a jump for that post and for the next 3 days in January.

I do almost all what u said but tech blogging is somehow different. People search for random stuff, the only time they search the same thing is when there's a hot new product like Samsung galaxy s10 and so on. Explain what you mean by long tail keywords
