A 27-year-old electrician identified as Sani Muhammad, was recently attacked after being at the wrong place at a wrong time. It was gathered that some thugs stormed Yan Cement area of Jos, Plateau state in search of some rival gangs. They couldn't find their target so they descended on Muhammad who just finished taking tea from one of the tea vendors around. The thugs slashed off his wrist and stabbed him on the head and forehead. He was rushed to Jos University Teaching Hospital where he was treated. The assailants were however arrested and were among those paraded today at the police headquarters. They confessed to the crime.
