I dont know why I prefer fed schools.

I dont think graduates from private universities are as smart as those from public schools.

The individual also matters. What is the likelihood of an introvert making all these connections and networks?

Private Universities are mostly attended by the Children of the rich or families above average, whom's Children are on most occasions not serious, some of them withdrawn from Public Universities for poor Academic performance and for some, the parents already know that the Children cannot cope in a Public Universities given the high standards and as such prefare Private Universities.

I've Attended a couple of Job Interviews with the Private Sector. One with First Bank, and some Other Private organisations in which the minimal requirement for a graduate from a Public University was 2nd class lower, (2.2). that of a private University graduate was second class upper (2.1), that tells u all in terms of quality

I would rather have a University Certificate from Public University like ABU, U I. Uni Lag. to mention jst few, than to have one from any of Nigerian Private University

Diversity:
Theres no diversity in private uni. A christian school is a christian school. Schools like igbinedion have people who belong to same circle or societal status. In public school, you see the rich,poor,hungry,broke,well-fed and all kinds of people in one school.

Hunkle, I am sure you would argue as well, that a poly is better than a Uni in the UK...

End of the day, live within your means.... if you can afford a private Uni - fine attend the best, if you can attend a public one - fine go with the best even if you can afford a foreign one do likewise. there is no basis for comparison between any of the 3 to be honest.

number one reason is connection

Being in the same class with so many Dangotes children or Governors children is enough to change your life

public university is crowded with very poor people who has no connection

Am wondering if the writer knows anything about Access bank recruitment process. They accept only graduates from CU as private uni and one or two state uni as at December 2017.

Get (basic) education whether via private or public institution. If you are lucky to gain admission into a public school, good for you. If you prefer private school and can afford the tuition, by all means, go there.
At the end of the day, Nigerian degrees are still not accepted anywhere outside the shores of Nigeria.

if private could achieve such height then it's worth it but its obvious, private schools equal spending much for less. upon all the stories above for the fact that u graduated from private school doesn't guarantee job security so what's the stress, for me I would pick fed universities over any private school

How many influential men do they have?
Do you know how strong ABU zaria Alumini is?
They have produced Governors, senators, ministers and all.
