I heard that some of the drought victims told their leaders that they don't need relief food or money but rather water for their animals because it's from them that they get their daily sustenance! Colonial era treaties that prevent Kenya from fully utilising waters from L.Victoria and L.Turkana so as to not disadvantage Egyptians and Ethiopians must be brushed off.

South Africa holds 70% of SADC GDP. It is the defacto most important country in SADC. Now tell us what South Africans think of SADC.

Flooding is annual ritual in Mozambique - Hunger in TZ is well guarded secret - Kenya drought is not any different from Cyclone that bombarded SADC - both are natural calamities. Kenya gov response to that drought of course is shameful.
