Lessons We Learned From Nigeria Vs Seychelles by Earthquake2: 10:58am On Mar 24, 2019
1) We need more goalkeeping options:Uzoho is not good enough

2) Mikel needs to get back to the team :Rohr should settle whatever rift he has with Mikel because when Iwobi is not at his best the team lacks creativity

3) We desperately need a set piece taker: Apart from Etebo nobody is decent enough on setpieces and being a tall team that was what we should be capitalizing on

4) The search for a good striker continues : Onuachu has flattered to deceive on his debut, that means Nigeria still seeks a replacement or competition for Ighalo, I advice Rohr to look to Mfom Udoh who has been banging goals in the NPFL for seasons now

5) NFF should listen to Rohr about stadium choices :The match played in Asaba hindered the players instead of bringing out the creativity in them and being so close to Afcon the Super Eagles need to be playing on a good pitch to bring them to rhythm

6) Onyekuru is a star player : despite mesmerizing the opponents in the Seychelles match, Onyekuru recorded two headers one resulting to a goal, more than any other Nigerian player and for the smallest player on the pitch that is quite an achievement

7) The Nigerian crowd need to wake up :Apart from the Supporters club the rest of the stadium was silent and spectating instead of supporting, In the U-23 match against Libya the Nigerian team needs the crowd behind them

The pitch was the only problem.

Play same match in UYO and it would yield a different result.

I can't understand the OP calling for Mfon Udoh...do you think banging in goals in the local the league is the same as playing for the super eagles?

Udoh had his chance with the local eagles and he did not impress.

Why are we still relying on Mikel. Except our scouts are lazy, I feel there are younger and hungrier players to give iwobi a run for his money.

Left to me
I wouldn't want Mikel near the team. Besides during the WC, Mikel played and we still lacked creativity. Mikel as a creative player is overrated

nff would never have cash to host matches even if Benin Republic offer us free ground to play our matches they would jump at it but money gallivant with all their staff oversea and bring us failure all in the name of support our national team they would have.

We never learn lesson at all. So far Seychelles taught us a lesson by scoring a goal.
South Africa and libya beat this guys 6-0 and 8-1.
We only replied them by scoring only 2 goals

I disagree with you on point 4 about Onuachu. Our midfield didn't create any chance for him to shine and our wingers/wing backs didn't cross the ball for him to make good use of his height.

We need his height in the super eagles, he can be our Peter Crouch or Fellaini.

Kindly swallow your rubbish religion nonsense. If they don't play well, they won't win anything. It isn't by prayer; it is by playing well and converting your chances.

If it is about prayer, then African countries would have lifted the World Cup severally
