ABUJA – PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has sent condolences to families who have lost loved ones, homes and means of livelihood in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi as Tropical Cyclone Idai takes a toll on Southern Africa. BEIRA - About 80 members of the South African air force, army and the medical health services are providing disaster relief in Mozambique following the devastation of Cyclone Idai. Three helicopters, two Augusat A109's and an Oryx from the South African National Defence Force have been deployed to Mozambique.The teams have been working tirelessly this past week, rescuing more than 400 people. Does Nigeria qualify to be called Giant of Africa? |
