In d time of Jesus, riding a donkey wasn't a sign of wealth. It was a sign of poverty. Donkeys were associated with peasants. D rich folks ride horses or chariots. Horses were a symbol of wealth then& even now.

I graduated from a private university and my school runs a monthly expenses of #75million,to obtain an operating licence from N.U.C to own up a university cost about #200m.Let me ask you this question, are you aware that all state, federal universities runs on "government subvention" to reduce the tuition fee par head.If you say church universities are way to expensive,the technical university which was established in Ibadan by Oyo state/CBN partnership pays about #950,000 per session.My school tuition was #504,000 when I graduated some years back.No universities owned by the church takes government subventions.

Read this. Records has shown that the top ten richest pastors in the world, are actually richer than their churches. The list has 4 Nigerian pastors in it. Of course you know Pastor Oyedepo is top of the list.

However, the top ten richest Churches in the world, does not have super rich pastors, and the churches has structure. I mean, it doesn't look like a one man kind of operation. Dnt want to mention names, but Catholic is among. Most of the richest churches has stayed for years and the founders long dead, hence the structure.

So, from the above standings, one can easily deduce that these mega Churches make money, not for the churches, but for the founders.

However some Pastors has personal investments o. Pastors like Oyedepo, T. D Jakes etc.
