APC rushed and picked Wole and Olujimi 2 badass when PDP was trashing them at the Tribunal and smart PDP drafted Ikpeazu SAN immediately.

He trashed them both as usual. Is Olujimi that couldn't regularize his case when he met Wole-Ikpeazu at the Supreme Court during Ikpeazu vs Otti for Abia State Governorship will face Ikpeazu at the Supreme court or Wole that trashed at the Supreme Court when he led PDP-INEC joint team during Udom vs Umana during Akwa Ibom governorship petition at the Supreme Court.

What has this got to do with the Osun Tribunal case?

The first lawyer to win a case at an election tribunal is Chief G. O. K. Ajayi in 1983...

He performed the feat in the Ajasin vs Omoboriowo and NPN in the Ondo State Governorship election.

Wole is leading Buhari's Legal team made up of Keyamo, Yusuf Alli SAN and others while Lateef Fagbemi will lead APC's legal team made up of other 8 counsels.

Yusuf Alli is another badass counsel. I can still remember he was in Yar'Adua team led by Wole. He rejected the position of AGF in 2018 and he has experienced working with Wole.

In that particular case Kanu Agbai was the INEC Lead Counsel and you won't believe that Kanu Agabi was also threatened not to join Atiku team.

Right now, Livy Uzoukwu is the one leading Atiku's legal team but PDP and INEC are yet to announced theirs.

Ikpeazu and Agabi are supposed to led PDP legal team but according to Atiku's Spokeperson, FG threatened them not to.

INEC has been using Ikpeazu SAN for all their high profile cases and in some cases they use Kanu Agabi that capacity they have been working with Wole and anytime they do, Wole never lose a case, though separately, Ikpeazu has always beat him 100%.

If Ikpeazu joins INEC or Agabi, there will be trouble and I don't think they would.

Only INEC has the power to determine that a primary satisifies electoral guideline, so INEC was called upon to defend their decision to accept Darius nomination despite the impunity.

INEC won that case for PDP and Ikpeazu was the Lead Counsel.

So the question should be, why was Ikpeazu chosen to defend INEC instead of the usual PDP?

What is this one saying? Ikpeazu defended mostly INEC and the onus is on INEC to defend that the election they conducted are free and fair.

No matter how strong PDP or APC is, if INEC fumbles, they will lose their cases like in Adeleke vs Oyetola.

Again that judgement wasn't based on precedent, PDP-INEC argued to set that precedent and if INEC had not supported PDP, there is no way that argument would have hold.

The electoral act clearly stated that INEC has the sole power to make guidelines regarding the conduct of election, if INEC had argued that the use of card readers fell under that guideline, then its use in the election would have been ruled as constitutional and binding.

PDP based their argument on that the use of card readers are foreign to the law but you forgot that Ikpeazu was the one leading joint PDP-INEC team in some of the cases while Wole was leading the Governors' legal team.

So there is nothing about swimming against the tide.

INEC was among the respondents, with Otti, PDP, and APGA in that case, since Otti won earlier at the Tribunal.
