Ask yourself would you have enough time to punch your calculators? But yes you can come with your calculator - adding machine if i can remember

BamBella:

Thank you for your contribution so far, we appreciate.

Please do you also know if calculators would be allowed in the test?

Please I got a success mail. However part of the requirements for the verification test invite is a NYSC discharge certificate. I don't have that yet as I am due to complete NYSC by July this year.
I want to know if that would be an issue..I live quite far from Lagos and I would not want to be disappointed.
Thank you.
Hi, congrats on your success mail. You still serving is no issue at all, you can still do the verification. On the day of your verification, just tell them that you are still serving and that your pop would be by july. you will be allowed to do the verification and other stages.
It did not hinder my friend last year. In fact he got his offer letter on his POP day.

Hi guys, thanks for your contributions so far.

Please, are we to expect a test of similar difficulty level or a notch higher?

A notch Higher basically because of the time constraint. So you need to learn about how to manage time, it could help.

I mailed pwc and the HR guy told me we're not required to come with a calculator. They said if one is necessary, they would provide for us.

Hp 12c financial calculator right? Is it something one would need to learn to use before the test?

Alaba International Market type of calculator grin. It is not the scientific calculator we all know. Its just a +,-,/,* type of calculator which is just fine.

Everything happens for a reason, that we were rejected doesn't mean we are not qualified enough for the post, time and chance are two factors that works for every human. As I was expecting my regret mail since there was no success mail.

I woke up yesterday and got a mind blowing email I never expected, the mail was sent 1:35am, I was lucky to be part of the 3050 applicants selected from over 216,000 applicants across Africa to be given $5,000 grant as an entrepreneur.

PWC regret mail dropped around 10am, but I have got a better result making me happy.
This is great news. Super happy for you

Please what kind of calculator did you use for the verification test? Was it the hp 12c financial calculator or a normal non scientific calculator?

davidmula:
Hi So you can send me a message yeah , but for the remuneration it is really just fair enough for you to survive in Lagos , what should bother you is the level of exposure working in PwC avails you

Thanks for this.
Willing to give a range for the remuneration or what we shud be gunning for.
I would be glad to email you about this or chat you up.

Can we use a notification of result instead of a university certificate for the verification exercise

Hi everybody... My test is scheduled for Monday, 9am but I have a clashing meeting at the same time. Please I will like to swap my test date. Let me know if you are interested and we will inform PWC so we can be swapped officially. Thanks

Why are you just saying this now? People have been rescheduling since Tuesday. Which Monday? 1st or 8th?
Try to reply the mail that was sent for Verification and see if they'll still be able to reschedule you
