And hey, these criterias help bring down the number of candidates a recruiter has to deal with. Las Las they can't take everyone, so why for example should they have to deal with the extra cost? I still don't understand why our Nigeria employers still lack global approach to employing workers. What is all these rubbish of first-class, second class bla bla bla. Even though the minister of petroleum might not be a graduate but still distinguished himself through other training and experiences. Nigeria employers should stop seeing applicants and workers as refugees. They should put into consideration the level of education in the country and how people pay through their noses to pass exams before setting out the job description. Is it easy to fund professional or master degree programs without job?
Indirectly they're saying those that attended state universities shud not apply. Because it's hard getting first-class, or 2:1 in those schools compare to federal and private. This is real discrimination!

Total and mobil 2.1 and first class and so on.

I have seen a job post advising degree holders not to apply.
