Yet mumu Nigerians would be praying God to bless this useless thing called Nigeria, while their political terrorist criminal leaders are stealing trillions of oil money on daily basis. Why would God bless this zoo? backnbeta:

Lucid1:Now i know that some Nigerian youths are really meant to be useless and poor in life, did you see Atiku give out this cash was there a photo of it and a prove? if there is, post it here and you have 100$ from me, I mean you want to justify the fact that there was clear evidence that bullion vans were carrying money to Tinubu's residence prior to election, look yahoo boys and Tinubu there is no difference. And youths like you are mean't to be useless in life always don bally these useless and corrupt politicians. |

dominique:We all know that the heinous crimes of the so called Yahoo boys are a very big blight on the country's reputation. What I deduce from this aside from his politically motivated rants is that we have some sacred cows in Nigeria bleeding out the financial system of our country. |

LazyGold:You didn’t get the whole gist, the other guy was asking to prove that there was actually money in the bullion van, and I reminded him when Tinubu came out the next day to say it’s his money and can do as he likes with it. My brother that alone is enough proof that the bullion van was loaded with cash. Bros pls don’t be sentimental here, Tinubu went against the money laundering act and can be arrested for that, but then again this is Nigeria where some people are more equal than the others. |

Lucid1:why are you people like this ?? Now you have left the Tinubu case and jump to Atiku. You people should stop justifying corruption with corruption. Tinubu carrying money in bullion van was illegal according to the Money Laundry Act, so as any corrupt politician whether Atiku or whosoever that has stolen public fund. Why then taking sides... is partisanship everything? Do they feed you?? |

sapele914:God will Judge you. It is either you are a slave to money or you are just a simpleton who have no idea of the implications of carrying such money on broad day light in our street and roads. For what transaction exactly According to the Money Laundry act, a very huge amount running above N500,000 for an individual should not be paid using physical cash but must be through the bank so that EFCC can track such money. How do you think drug dealers, politicians and kidnappers transfer huge fund. If not for our failed system, EFCC would have tracked and seize such fund but no they didn't. Yet people like you still support lawlessness in broad dayligjt.... May God forgive you.

stanliwise:Why is it hard for you ipobs to state categorically what act of corruption Tinubu committed or what laws he broke or the part of the Nigerian constitution he violated? Is it not rettarded, idiotic, ignorant and unintelligent to label people corrupt but have zero proof of corruption to show? Your own village leaders collect taxes, debts, and allocations, but they haven't commissioned anything meaningful since 1960, Ekeremadu your ipob brother looted your village dry with mansions all over Nigeria, Dubai, UK and the UK, but you ipobs care less, you are ready to die over other people's business and what you and your crack cocain internet uncle can not prove with facts. Silly hypocrites. Who swear for you people sef? |

vickayo:I argued this a while back.....what is Tinubu's offence exactly? The money laundering prohibition act is explicit on what it covers and guidelines on how and what it prosecutes. Two bullion vans entered his house in broad day light. Now can anyone answer the following questions -Did the vans contain money? If so how much? - Is it illegal to transport huge sums of money by individuals if it is done through a financial institution? - Did the money come from a financial institution? - if it did, did the institution report the transaction to relevant authorities? And did he pay the charges associated with large cash withdrawals? -As a politically exposed person are his transaction records always kept and updated? So The EFCC is mandated by law to go after Yahoo boys (which is a poor example of trying to prove a point from reno) just as they are mandated to receive and act on reports from financial institutions about transactions and PEPs. So until you have evidence that Tinubu broke the law or it was bent in his favour, you won't see security agents breaking down his doors. As to the morality of moving bullion vans with so many hungry and jobless people, that is a different question entirely |
| Re: "EFCC Turns A Blind Eye At Tinubu But Arrest Yahoo Boys" - Reno Omokri by unmask: 5:18am On Mar 30, 2019 |
stanliwise:Better go and read the act well so you can stop misguiding people. You can collect any cash amount from banks.... however you pay charges above a certain amount and the transaction must be reported to the authorities |
| Re: "EFCC Turns A Blind Eye At Tinubu But Arrest Yahoo Boys" - Reno Omokri by unmask: 5:22am On Mar 30, 2019 |
Kfed4ril:Go and read the act then pray tell where the offence is. Tinubu never said he had money in the van....if you took that to court as evidence, you will lose the case before it even starts |

Rubbiish:So because there are fraudsters in other climes, we should condone ours? He made no point why will he use "chasing yahoo boys" as an example. By your logic.....if we had bigger terrorist groups in more developed countries, we should be happy that ours is just boko haram and shouldn't bother with bringing them to book |

unmask:The Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011 makes it illegal for any individual to accept or make any cash payment that exceeds N5m (Five Million Naira). This means that every cash transaction over N5m must be done via a financial institution. Any person found guilty of contravening this is liable to imprisonment for a term of not less than 3 years or a fine of N10m (Ten Million Naira) or to both. The above is the act straight as quoted, it is actually 5 million Naira. Stop misleading people, be guided. |

unmask:If other climes are making progress even with the presence of fraudsters, then we should tackle the main issue head on. I believe if Nigeria is working like USA & Russia, we will not be complaining & these countries are not devoid of fraudsters. The case of chasing fraudsters is like chasing ants and leaving the lions, which Reno is trying to say. Fraudsters are not responsible for poor governance, bad electricity, roads, health facilities, poor educational system etc just name it. These are national problems and makes a country what it is. I can send you a YouTube channel link on USA fraud, so you can see the kind of fraud being done there. Credit card hacking on individuals account & it is done by white. But the country is still working because of good leaders. Let us address the real problem & stop beating about the bush. |
