My sister had this "poor" neighbour from up North, whom she always helped out financially because she had kids. A couple of years later she was shocked to find out that the same lady was building a palatial home back where she's from. So all her money went to that project, while she played on the sympathy of others to further her gain. People! Smh.

She's not complaining that her husband is still riding a bike. Rather, she's correcting the erroneous belief, out there, that her family's made megabucks from the whole thing.
She's saying that their everyday life is basically still the same, save for Success getting her 3rd term fees paid & the government promising her a scholarship.
