Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria's Vice President who spoke on Sunday at the Presidential Villa Banquet Hall, disclosed that his wife prefers the quiet life to the rigours of politics.Yemi who revealed that his wife prefers quiet life at a Thanksgiving Service organised by the Aso Villa Chapel to thank God for the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari and Osinbajo, stated that God was truly worthy of praise and thanksgiving.

“It is impossible to thank him enough; I and my family have too many reasons to thank God. One day my wife and I reflected on how unlikely our journey here is. She reminded me that all she wanted was a quiet life as one of the many families of academics living on the University campus.

“If someone had said to me in 2013 you will be campaigning across the country;. you will win the elections and become Vice President of Nigeria I would, because I am generally polite, have said amen but in my heart, say what a crazy chap!”

Any one who knows how difficult it is to campaign for local government chairman and win, you will not find it difficult to accept that except the Lord build the house they labour in vain who build it" he said.

More reason you should also thank God for Bukola Saraki. Saraki was the voice that God used to stop Tinubu's quest for VP and hence, you came into the equation. Unfortunately, you forgot Saraki just as the butler forgot Joseph (Gen. 4:23). Saraki's sin is because he stopped Tinubu from the VP position ... chikenna!

shocked

That woman is a pillar of prayer and encouragement. You don't find their type easily in this wayward generation. I heard since they moved into the Villa, she has been sold out to fasting and praying for her husband. They say most of the time, she is quietly praying for her husband. Why won't he be kept alive, why won't the days of his glory be prolonged. For the sake of one righteous man in govt, God can shift the day of judgement for the wicked.

Your day of reckoning is coming for your careless and irresponsible words spoken against this man. Nairaland really gives nonentities opportunities to throw shots at achievers. It is abnormal

Who cares about what she prefers?

She cannot afford to engage in the rigours of politics because Aisha Buhari will put her in her shoes.

The same Saraki called Osinbajo a mere commissioner forgetting the man was also a professor of law.

It is God that directs the affairs of men...
