This is another proof that citizens of a small country located off the coast of west Africa praying to Israeli and Arab gods have no effect in reality

Nigeria population that's filled with Christian and Muslim majority pray to Yahweh and Allah for long life and prosperity but reality shows these prayers fail as prayer for prosperity has only gotten Nigeria branded "Poverty Capital of the World"
source http://punchng.com/with-87m-poor-citizens-nigeria-overtakes-india-as-worlds-poverty-capital/

Prayer for long life is also failing as these prayers have failed to raise our life expectancy, on the contrary our life expectancy has only reduced to 52. the 6th worst in the world

Let's now compare a Nigeria that prays to a Jewish and Arab god to a Japan that's filled with atheists who don't even acknowledge these middle eastern gods let alone pray to them.

Japan that don't pray against poverty is regarded to be one of the richest countries in the world

Japan whose citizens don't pray to Jewish and Arab gods for long life has life expectancy of 83.7 years. the highest in the whole world

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy

For how long would we keep going through this futile exercise of praying to Arab and Jewish gods and keep deceiving ourselves that these prayers are working despite verifiable evidence to the contrary staring us in the face? For how long would we keep putting our fate in the hands of foreign gods and expecting them to help us?
If you have problems with religion... showing it here is unintelligent. Go and pray to Esu, Ogun and Obatala plus your ancestors graves and masquerades. And then you can die at 209.

Yes, you're an atheist but not everything has to be blamed on religion. In the link above, Singapore and South Korea are in the top ten with the former in the top 5. Yet these countries have a predominant size of the population who are religious. Should we then say religion is the bedrock for their longevity if you decide to use Japan as an example for irreligious people living longer?

At the bold, for the umpteenth time, the vast majority of Japanese are not atheists. They pray to Gods and are majorly Shintos and Buddhists.

They are very correct! I'm 33 years old and u won't believe that out of 15 of my childhood friends I still keep in touch with all our Fathers are dead! And these men(our fathers) should have been between 60 to 72 years old if they were to be alive. So u see,it's real.

You should try reading posts well before hitting the reply button

where in my post did I blame "Religion"? what brought North Korea to this?

If your counter to my post is there are countries with low life expectancies who are atheists then you're simply agreeing with me that prayer has NO effect on life expectancy, No? practical solutions should therefore be sought rather than praying to Arab and Jewish gods. No? thanking Arab and Jewish gods for "gift of life" and giving "thanks to god for my sleeping and waking up" "if no be for our prayers to god we all for don die" is therefore meaningless, useless and borders on stupidity. No?

about your last paragraph. atheists can be religious. Buddhism, Shintoism, Taoism etc are non theistic. they do not involve belief in creator gods. check the picture below and be enlightened

It is high time Nigeria had adopted the concept of Demographic Dividend. It is all about the economic and social benefits that will be derived by the states and the nation generally, if the birth rate of women of reproductive age is kept low. The direction Nigeria is towing now is simply that of a people having large families, remaining poor and living shorter lives; this will not bring the desired development and prosperity. Thanks to the UNFPA/ State Bureau of Statistics seminar in Calabar, October 2018. Waiting for the state-wide advocacy to enlighten the masses.
