Dear Seniors in the house.

We have been waiting in the Pool with a CRS of 448 since February 16th and from the trend, I don't think I can wait any longer.

My spouse alone did the IELTS that gave us the CRS score, I don't want to miss the next drraw hence wants to register for CBT without preparing just to earn 5-10points and boost our CRS for next draw.

Please, can I just walk in and write normal English and score at least 5 points to enable us get ITA in a fortnight?

Try to register for Computer based IELTS with BC. Result will be ready within 5 days.

Patience is key!!
448 has a good chance. by may, It will likely drop to 44+
You can go for TEF or rewrite IELTS to boost your score

*** Many people will pay good money to have your score if it is possible. Just be patient and have hope.

Your use of English (written, but I'd presume same for spoken) seems to be above average. Trust me, all you may require is about 3 hrs on YouTube (Jay or Liz) to review the core concepts of the test and 2 practice tests (Listening and Reading only).

Nonetheless, you have a decent score that will certainly get you an ITA sometime in the future, but as the saying goes, "Time na money"(is N75,000 equal to/less than/more than almost 2 months lost?).

Anyway, if money ain't a thing, I'd suggest you sit for the test ASAP and get things going.

When I read stories like this, I try to force myself to be patient undecided and be thankful for my journey.

IELTS was very smooth and only a bit of delay with WES (that was caused by me).

Now I’m so impatient (me and my 444 embarassed)

Please go for it. But don’t do it without preparing though.

I’d suggest you book the test for a date at the end of April. This gives you more than enough time to get ready for it.

There’s no way of telling when the cut off will drop. Next draw or August?? If there are things you can do to improve your chances, please do it. Better than waiting in uncertainty, IMO

Good evening all, congrats to all ITA Clinchers.
Please I need clarifications about P.O.F- (I AM POST-ITA)
I intend to use T-Bills certificate plus gift deed(My dad supported me) as proof of fund.

A friend said I have to submit my account statement showing the inflow of my dad's payment and my Dad's account statement showing outflow of the funds.

My issue- I have been involved in multiple fixed deposits and TBILLS investments pre-ITA and this shows as huge inflow and outflow when the investment matures/tenure expires.

My question- Do I still go ahead and submit my account statement showing my Dad's funds and write a letter of explanation explaining the huge funds or should I just submit only my dad's account statement plus TBILLS certificate and gift deed.
I just do not want the huge inflow to raise red flags.
Pls I would need your advise- Anyone with experience and all seniors in the house.
Thanks for your anticipated reply.

Hi,

My now fiance and I applied separately and we both have our COPR, but yet to land in Canada. We are now considering getting married before we land in Canada. It's just a small wedding. If we do proceed with the wedding, do we need to inform IRCC? How would this affect our COPR? We are trying to avoid having to come back for the wedding lol.

Any suggestions please?

You are free to get married before landing, but you MUST inform IRCC. Whether it's court o, trad o, church o or mosque, you must inform them. Both your COPRs will be cancelled and new ones issued.

Or you can both do soft landing and come and get married. If you don't want to come back for wedding, do the wedding in Canada.

In other news, twale to you and your fiance!! I like your style cheesy
