Are you in cocody so I can ask you few questions
I don't mind staying in modest areas to cut few costs

Hello house, any Nigerian in cocody?
Comment below so we can link up!
Note...I don't need your food or cash..it's just lonely out here with all these French people..I need to speak pidgin again sad
If you feel bored, I suggest you join your village or state meeting. There, you will connect with a lot of people. There is one primary school close to St Charles lwanga Catholic church Adjame. Visit there on Sunday, as it serves as venue for all Igbo meetings. If you are Yoruba, enter most small scale building material shops. Na Yorubas mostly get am. If you are an Hausa, talk to Suya sellers. If you are a Catholic, go to same Charles lwanga on Sunday by 8am. If a Muslim, you will meet many Yorubas in the mosque.

Bro even aboki here can afford to live in cocody..don't be discouraged. Cocody is like Lagos with different areas.
What part of Lagos do you reside currently?

And for that quick money i can't advice you on that without having the experience myself. I hope you get my point.

I'm Advising you as a real naija guy, Life is really good here, electricity is 24/7, good roads, cheap food and the people have good mentality here..overall the Cost of living here is cheaper than Lagos and honestly you'll feel more at home here surrounded by your fellow black people than living in Asia. You'll survive here as a naija guy and your budget is good, don't be discouraged... I know it's scary moving to a completely new environment..but you'll Adapt.

If you have a good certificate and can speak French..you'll get a good job.
But if you wish to do business..then you'll find lots of Nigerians in Adjamé doing different business there like I mentioned above.

If you're a Christian, there is a vibrate English speaking non denominational church International Fellowship of Christians (IFC) in Riviera Palmeraie, near the Sisters of Notre Dame House. You can reach them on +22506063107. It's a very multinational church as well.

There are about three good English speaking schools in the Abidjan area American Intl school, Morning Glory and The International English School of Abidjan. But like someone has pointed out. They're very expensive, average school fees is about 3mill CFA/year for the last 2. Of course the American school is way above that. However if your kids are very little say just starting primary school it would be more beneficial to have them in a French school as kids learn very quickly and it will be easier for them in the long run.

You plan teaching in the French schools?
Re: Any Nigerian In Cocody Abijan? by gamaliel9: 9:54pm On Apr 03, 2019
I will advise that you go there with dollars cash...you have a possibility of having bigger CFA if you are changing from dollar to cfa instead of naira to cfa

1000dollars =588,000cfa
2000dollars- 1,178,000cfa

In Nigeria 2000dollars is 720,000

Am i wrong?

You have to be a pro in French to teach in their schools and for the English schools..they employ mostly white teachers, at least the ones I've seen.
