GTB a bank to be weary about. Accout Holders Please Take Note!!!!. by akpota(m): 6:26am On Apr 05, 2019
Good morning everyone. I will be quick on this one. I have been thinking if I should do this or not but I just decided to do it it may help out one on two people and may also help GTB bank to checkmate themselves. I will beg the forum master to please let this reach front page very quickly and people should also share their view.

Herer we go. I am an accout holder with GTB Agbara. For security reasons, I will leave out details but incase anyone want to recah me as a result of this post, I can be reach via mail( johnbright197@gmail.com) Whatsapp 07065039057.

It all started like this on 20 December 2018 I made GOTV payment of 1900.
Please note all transaction all carried out via internet banking and webpages of providers and not paga.
It failed twice. I was debited for these. I laid complain at the bank branch Agbara where a CC rep(Mr Segun) could not solved the issue. This rep was a very arrongant man. My account officer Mrs. Adeseeke and wasnt helping much.
It went on and on to April 2019. I guess some people would be surprised.
Well, I mail the bank myself on gtconnect servally. Maybe 10 times on this issue before I saw a reserval of the funds yesterday 4/04/2019.
This is just one of the numerous issues I have had.

The recent one I have had which promthed me to make this writing so everyone can learn and help push this fo front page and their social media handle.
It was #3,100 flutterwave transaction I did succesfully on the 8 of March 2019 which I got double debited on 21 March 2019 after initially debiting on 8 March 2019
The amazing thing here is the bank reply after multiple mails "was sorry this was a delayed debit after viewing our database".
I kept replying them confidently to reserve the money showing them all evidence I have in terms of screenshot like the one I would upload. Screenshot before and after the transaction showing the date and debit difference of the sum between the book and avialble balance. That is why I am pleading with everyone to take screenshot before and after a transaction and also transaction amount, time and date involved.
This week the money was reserved too. Although I still have about 390 and 399 to be reserved.
Sign of relief right? Not so fast this morning before I wrote this I got two debit again 1900 each for a transaction already paid for. I got bitter, someone need to teach this bank a lesson. Innoson motors already have a case with them, have they not learnt?
I have already written a mail to them and have fill dispence error form too but my question remains.
Should this keep happening?
Bank laws should be made to santions banks like this.
I keep asking myself some people out there dont have access to information on their account like I do, they cant ganerate their statement themselve e.t.c
The bank will just take advantage of them without they knowing,
This have to stop. I would appreciate if i get a lawyer that can take this on and have a legal action taken. Nigeria are suffering from poor sevices from this banks.
CBN hasn't done enough, regulations and santion are not apply. No way to check-mate this banks. I would stop here for now but I want every reader and moderator to please share and repost this story. Let it get to their eyes. GTB must be called to order.
The first screenshot was pic taken before a transaction while the second was after the trasnsaction was peformed.
The other picture just captured was I narracted in the story.

I can remember when this kind of thing happened to one of my colleague in the office but with First bank. What he did was to send a mail to the bank and copy CBN, within 10 minutes, the money was reversed.

My advice is always put CBN in a copy of your mail. If the bank see that CBN is in the copy of the mail, they will hurriedly respond to your mail thereby resolving it to avoid sanction.

Thanks I did this in my mail and not reserved. Like I earlier wrote I have written several times but when i then included CBN in the mailm they started taking it serious.

The bank is just out to make sure they get something from you either by hook or crook. That's why I am weary of most of this sweet name banks.

My heritage and unity bank resolves my issues quickly and efficiently, and are very communicative. I don't even need to go to the bank, I'll simply send them an email and they will call and work on my issues.

So sorry pal.
