Some of you(supporters of corruption) behave like a dog. If you chase it, it will pant,..if you don't, it will still pant. What exactly do you want?

I remember when y'all were shouting witch-hunt and throwing tantrums to defend this signature of the PDP. It was like Buhari has done something terrible no one has ever done and will ever do..now that the Fulani man is vindicated, I expected y'all to bury ya heads in shame, but here you are still throwing tantrums

If only you know the true position of things and why Onnonghen became the sacrificial goat, you won't say all these.

Let's allow it to die

He has finally resigned, they have succeeded in their plot..he will move on with his life..God bless Nigeria.

He should have done that before now. His lawyers advised him wrongly.

In the interest of the Judiciary my foot.

There is no case situation in the persecution of the CJN, so he was not guilty after all,it is your president that is witch hunting him.

The CJN resign because the NJC suggested so and your presidency satisfy all the retirement plan.

It is a shame the federal character is dead

How has the Fulani man been vindicated so is it so impossible that the jugde was actually threatened or even bribed. It is clear that buhari has been desperate for him not to come back , so I won’t be surprised if something fishy had transpired

He resigned because Buhari is planning to sack him without any entitlement, based on the findings of NJC. The NJC conclusion would have given Buhari the needed power to sack him. That's what Buhari is probably planning. He got wind of it and decided to quickly do a damage limitation. Buhari can reject his resignation and sack him instead.
In any case, the criminal case against him is fully established by EFCC. He will end up in prison.

How? Onnoghen admitted to have forgotten to declare some assets which happen to be against the constitution. Witch hunt or not that is a breach that should be resolved.

The man shouldn't have taken NJC advice if he was sure of his "innocence" and FG shouldn't have accepted his resignation letter or stop the his trials if they did truly have evidence against him. Nigerians are losers because this corrupt man will walk away with all those blood money and the rumoured 2 billion naira entitlement

If you support corruption...amend your ways don't generalize!

The media-trial was wrong so was the way in which he was removed. That same period a newspaper (i think punch{not-sure}) made request for asset declaration form of Tinubu, Amaechi, Osinbajo etc to CCB through FOI, letters were received without reply or provision of the forms. Yet one entity somewhere got access to the sitting CJN's asset declaration form without going through the right channels, a supposedly confidential document??! Yes, it's a political witch-hunt.
https://www.nairaland.com/4997758/assets-ccb-refuses-access-kyari

There's no sentiment in this saga. APC led by GMB went about this the wrong way for reasons they believe was best known to them but obvious to many.

Lastly to describe the way Nigerians and the international community viewed and reacted to this charade as Tantrum is highly insensitive and inconsiderate of you.

Call a Spade a Spade!

If Atiku had won the election I,m sure this man will not resign with the rate @ which PDP rushed to defend him when his atrocities were exposed.I remember they called off rogue,Atiku's, campaign for 2 days to show support for onnoghen.Imagine how they would have turned Nigeria to a heaven for corruption and loot the treasury dry if the fugitive had won.

It's better for him to leave now that he has been vindicated before the Buhari regime can find something else against him.

It was all about the elections tribunal and having a Fulani as Head to protect the 2019 rigging by APC

shut up your stupid mouth, FG already got him by the neck, NJC did that to save face cos it will be an insult for a cjn to go to prison. if he was innocent as you claim why was he avoiding trial by using flimsy excuses like tooth decay. he is a disgrace to the judiciary and southern Nigeria, but idiots like you can keep praising him

I disagree.

If he had resigned2or 3 months ago it would have been 'in the interest of the judiciary. '

But now, it a bit late because many have told him to do so. So he resigned in his own interests

so is there anything bad if those names you wrote up are made to face disciplinary committee if they toe the line of okorocha, what amosun and okorocha did was wrong on all levels and they deserve whatever punishment is been meted out to them especially okorocha who lost the state to opposition. if u believe this is wrong then your mind is warped poorly

You can't do something you don't have a right to..

He didn't seek 2/3 from legislature.

The end does not justify the means..

Do things the right way..

You can't suspend a president before you impeach him...

If he has to go he must be impeached... undecided

Onoghen is not the only govt official with dom account with funds they did not declare and cannot account for..

Asset declaration form of onogehn was singled out and released to a bogus NGO headed by buharis ex aid.
