When eligibility changes from recommend passed (GCMS) to Eligibility Under review (Ralph)

What does that mean biko?

Is under review different from review required?

AOR is September, so over 6 months.... and was given a date in April during a call with an agent.

I agree with this. The PNP process is long. By the time you get your 473, Alberta may not have even looked at your file yet. This page on their site was last updated on March 11 https://www.alberta.ca/ainp-processing-inventory.aspx. No processing times are given for the EE stream, but for the Alberta Opportunity Stream they're still working on applications received in November. (Times may be different for EE stream, but it isn't indicated on the page). So please choose wisely.

Jennypharb1:

If you're sure that 473 is sure, maybe hold on and apply through FSW. I believe 473 is quite safe to get ITA in the summer, that's just a few months ahead. For one I think that the FSW process is shorter, there's also the issue of initial provincial restriction under the PNP route, I'm not sure whether you can have more than one application under express entry as well. Either way, weigh your options carefully

Pls my people, I am writing ielts for the third time 27th. For every exam I write, I spend at least 100k cos I usually lodge in an hotel close to the exam venue. My ECA has been completed by iqas. The only thing keeping me is ielts. I have a problem with writing, listening and reading. Speaking has never been my problem as I speak very well. Oga’s in the house should help me as I won’t want to write this exam again after this one.

I feel you should have sorted these out before registering for another exam. So you don't end up getting frustrated. You can however look for Cambridge 1-13 and practice with it.

All the best in the preparation.

Good morning guys, I'm new here and I will appreciate your help.

I wrote on 23 Mar 2019 and my result is as thus L9 W7 R7 S7.5

I have done my WES and in Canadian standard, it says the canadian equivalence is a Bachelors of 4 years and Postgraduate Diploma of 1 year. What do I select when running the mock CRS? Do I select it as a Masters Degree or as a two or more cert?

Please I will appreciate your advice

Bro is your Bachelor's degree a five years course?

Hello everyone, please I need your help; in registering for ICES assessment, it is required that I upload a copy of my certificate. Thing is, I haven't received my certificate yet. Can I upload only my statement of result? Or must I go get my certificate? And then for my int'l passport page, it expired in January and I haven't renewed yet. Do I upload like that since the reason they need it is to verify my age?

Cc: Queencyco

You can upload your statement but it is important that your school sends a copy of the statement along with your transcript.

Please renew your passport, I don't think the expired one is acceptable.

250-260 not more than 260. just a hint from someone that marks ielts , he is based in canada tho. just worshiped in my church and a friend to my Pastor so we discussed my predicaments on the outcome of my wifey result. she scored 8,8,8.5,6.5 in writing 6 times . And all he told me to tell her was to reduce the words to 260 max that most markers rule out when its getting to 270 and more. this is just an advice tho, just trying to help. the wey this country is when i become PM for Canada i will allow all Nigerian free entry oo grin grin

Are you sure about this? I have written ielts more than twice(I be customer dadaa) and at no point did I score less than 7.0 and I usually write between 265-275( I count them on each occasion).

NB: my handwriting is terrible. lol

Hi guys, I got an email earlier in the week from Alberta Province that I have been selected to apply for their PNP based on my suitable profile. I didn't apply for it.

I'm in the pool with 433 and will upgrade to 473 this summer.

I'm planning to ignore it because of the high cost, long waiting time and provincial restriction of PNP.

I just thought I bring it here for inputs in case there might be any reason to regret ignoring this offer in the future.

Thank you bro, I have started the real thing.

Please i'm at a fix.

Seeing that WES calls it a Postgraduate degree (one year) What do I select in the main profile? My options are:
- One year program at a university?
-Two year program at a university?
- Masters OR Professional degree?

Please I would appreciate your prompt response.
Use what's on your ECA report - one year program

Hello all,
I have a few questions as I prepare for ITA, which hopefully I should get sometime in May. My wife and I are applying (with her as the PA). We were just informed by our respective contacts in our schools that they have sent our verification back to WES. So hopefully our WES ECA reports should be out sometime around middle of May. We have also scaled through IELTS and our CRS stands at 458. So my question is how early can we begin to put together our requirements?

How long does it take on the average to schedule a medical test and get the report out? Is it okay for the date on the medical report to precede ITA?

Is it acceptable for the date on the employment reference letter to precede ITA? If so, boy how many weeks? In other words, can we start processing job reference letter in April even though we may not apply till May ending?

Are there any requirements that I can only start processing after ITA? Or can I just start collating everything now?

I wish I could, but any general advice will not do much good. Every person’s writing inadequacies are unique, and each person needs a personal tutor to groom them, by the tutor reviewing their writing samples. However, you need to be sure your tutor is good in writing.

Hi can I send you an email concerning my IELTS writing please

Start gathering your documents right away bro. You can do an upfront medical exam before ITA. Reference letters can be a year old, so get the letter as soon as possible, your police certificates, your proof of funds, digital photos and other documents you'd need to submit. Going by recent trends in ITA draws, 458 is high enough to fetch you ITA in May. I hope and pray it drops way lower than that so folks here with lesser CRS scores can grab their ITAs.

I only stated what worked for me. For I was so sure of what I wrote and also for my wife and her hand writing is not that good but we had to put into use what we were told which at last gave us the point we needed . When you write the exam 8 times with almost same result of 8.5,8,8,6.5 you won’t want to despise anything people with experience told you , as I earlier stated the person marks for ielts . He’s based in Canada. Bro we all will get what we desire in this journey which the PR.

1. Yes. You can send a PM to @Avidreader748 and discuss with him on WAEC processing.
2. See this link.
3. You pay the Application Fee before you submit your application. The Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) can be paid before you submit your application or you can choose to pay after. It's up to you to decide.

Okay. Select "Bachelors' degree" for your BSc, then add your PGD separately and select "One year program at University, college, trade or technical school, or other institute" for the Postgraduate Diploma. You will be awarded points for "Two or more certificates....". Read through the first page here for more info.

After creating and submitting your EE profile, crosscheck your EE overall score (displayed on your account) with your simulated score on the CRS tool to ensure it tallies and that you were awarded the points for 2 or more certificates.

Thank you very much sir. i got a 463 score on both trials.
