"Zamfara State Governor Is The Useless Governor In The History Of Nigeria" - Kadaria Ahmed

By the spate of killings, kidnappings and other violent crimes in Zamfara State, North West Nigeria, and its neighboring states, citizens in Abuja embarked on a peaceful protest from the Unity Fountain to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja to demand a definite action from President Muhammadu Buhari to stop the crisis. Gistvic Reports.

Speaking during the protest, one of the organisers, Kadaria Ahmed, a popular journalist, said what she thinks the Zamfara state government should do to check the rising insecurity. Ahmed also described the Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, as “the most useless governor in the history of Nigeria”. Gistvic Reports.

She said:

"This is a governor whose reaction to the killings in his state was to resign as Chief Security Officer. He went on record to say that he cannot be Chief Security Officer, so I don’t know what he is still doing in office.
He doesn’t care. He only cares about the people of Zamfara State when it comes to politics, that’s the only thing that matters to him.
He lives most of his life here in Abuja. How can you govern a state for eight years from Abuja? What sort of leadership is that? He is hopeless as a leader, under him, Zamfara has deteriorated.

Why are they blaming Yari? is Yari the president?

In 2014 when Boko Haram were carrying out series of attacks they blamed GEJ why didn't they blame Shettima Kashim?

They know naw. They are all just pretending not to know. When GEJ was there, every bad thing was blamed on him. Today, the press are not even talking.

I dislike this woman in the same fashion I dislike Tonto Dikeh!This is the same woman that was biased during her interview with Atiku/Obi in the last elections.Why not call on Baba to Intervene instead of Yari?

What I can tell you authoritatively is that, indigene and non are the one providing security for themselves. The sound of gunshots from Locally made guns every night is quite funny and alarming. The govt, I believe is not sincere with the governance of the state.

Attention too should be paid on Kaduna. Zaria road, Birnin Gwari road, Kaduna-Abuja road, Saminaka Road; none of the roads leading out of Kaduna is safe. We haven't even mentioned the insecurity within the state sef.

It is high time we stop making excuses foe these incapable Governors for whatever reason. If a man cannot solve the security problems in his state, the honourable thing to do is resign. If they wont, they should be forced to.

Alas! They mobilize *simple* fellas to match the streets with placards displaying support for mediocracy when na their brothers and sisters dey die las las.
