MarianaTrench:You have a point. It's just, I need to prepare my body, mind and soul before I can live in Lagos. At the risk of sounding like a coward, I am truly not ready. ![]() |

folake4u:nature has never remained static in all of its history. where you know now as beach, lake, river, etc, were probably not there say...1 or 2 million years ago. |
| Re: Is Lagos Island Going Bananas? by MiddleDimension: 12:24pm On Apr 08, 2019 |
slimdamatrix1:even in Abuja, people still come late for appointment. have you moved from Gwaggwalada to Giri in recent times, during the day? it is becoming more like Lagos! the mistake the FG made in Lagos, i.e concentrating things on the island so that every morning everyone will be headed the island way, is what exactly they are making in Abuja. |

MiddleDimension:I beg to differ please. There are some natural sites STILL static from time memorial and hasn't been tampered by man. I know the reason I said God cannot be mocked. Though I'm not a lagosian but the Lagos Island places eg. Lekki, VI etc where houses are built now on artificial sands and the rest, please pray tell me, the water running in their homes, are they drinkable? .Or is Lekki no longer waterlogged despite being a high brow area?. The truth is you can NEVER cheat nature . |

folake4u:can you please give me an example of a site that has been ''intact'' forever so that e can google its geographical history 1 to 2 million years ago. also you tend to think that only man's activities influence the topography, climate and other things about the earth. my point is nature in it self, is ever changing with or without human interference. the asteroid impact that wiped out the dinosurs was not man made, was it? what about the springs of the chinese province of junan? and the melting of the ice age? |

folake4u:also, Eko Atlantic is higher than VI. it is 4metres higher. more like twice the hight of the door in your house. there is also no running tap in thebig places in Abuja. i was in Abuja early last month and in the cab with the driver, he told me the city only has road infrastructure, but no running water. |

slimdamatrix1:people who live in VI and have to work in Ikoyi; or those who like Linda who works in Lekki phase 1, can get to her office in relatively short time. so... |
