Bankers in the house, I did not understand. This afternoon, I got a text from my Bank after withdrawing 5k with my ATM.

In few minutes time, I got a message stating both current balance and available balance together with negative in available balance.

Current bal: 10,000

Available bal: -24000.


Pls, who can explain what that negative sign means

You owe the bank. Pos/ Online transaction yet to be completed. Also if u deposit above that amount to the account, it will be deducted. It happens mostly with payment u do online and are auto renewed

Thanks but i still not understand, they automatically deduct their charges once each payments made online.

Hhhmm...Meaning they will deduct up to 24k?

Sometimes they deduct but HV not reconciled with your account. Don't worry wen is reconciled you will not see that
