These are unconnected events. It seems you are forgetting that in the same 1967 barely 6 months after the January coup, Northern officers assassinated Gen. Aguiyi Ironsi and scores of igbo officers. Those two events were connected and that should settle the eye for an eye score so to speak.

So what then does Ekwueme's ill-treatment have to do with the events of 1967?
