New norm from BC was effected in March 2019. Hold your TRF until your score changes.
Debsify:
That's not the norm o, TRF should be with them during the EOR process. Did you pay for EOR? They might chop the money for nothing.

Guys,

Can I scan my statement of results to wes to generate reference number, since am travelling to school next week for the original certificate. Won't it affect anything, since I won't av the statement of result again after obtaining the original certificate

Please I need advice.
WES would accept your statement of result for Evaluation. Once you Fax it to them, I'm not sure there will be any need for it again, so even if you exchange your Statement of result for your Original certificate, there wouldn't be any problem in future.

Search for WES fax number on the thread and sign up with www.hellofax.com to fax to them.

Remember to Pay on WES website first to generate your Reference number which you'll need when sending your Statement of result.

My people,

I would be writing my first ever IELTS tomorrow and have been practicing a lot lately, Kindly assist to critique one of my essays below so I could avoid making these mistakes in real exams condition.

below essay is my thought on early and late marriages.

In recent times in Nigeria, there has been an upsurge in the debate about early and late marriages. While a particular school of thought has come out to support the former there have been very tacit backing for the latter by traditional family societies. I believe the merits of an early marriage far outweighs a late marriage.

Besides, stigmatization of late marriages in our society is one hurdle that you would have successfully crossed because we are in a growing African society that despises late marriages and supports the maxim that women generally age faster than the men.
Furthermore, an early marriage supports the idea of early procreation. A family is able to decide on the number of children they want and set out to accomplish this. This would ultimately support the fact that we have to grow with our children thereby making them our friends.

In-as-much as the task of raising children is a daunting responsibility, financial planning is very necessary in both marriage types therefore, I would prefer that the bills of my children are picked up in my entire working life. Using one’s pension and savings to take care of kids is often encouraged by late marriages and I do not support this.

Also, the argument in support of late marriages that it allows ample time for intending couple to plan might be plausible. However, an early marriage would allow intending couples to weather the storms of life together, learning from their pitfalls and brazing themselves up to the top.

Two good heads they say, are better than one and even best if they come together earlier in life

please someone should help me assess my writing. I need to know areas I am to improve on. my test is tomorrow.

You can make remita payment on the remita website and select unilorin as the biller. I'll advise you do all that in the campus, as you will still have to stamp the payment printout receipt in the bursary unit. The mfb is also in the campus. Then you submit the receipt and the deposit slip at PG school, where it will be stapled with your verification letter. Mine got to WES after a week, though I hurried them to send asap. It's unfortunate that they don't respond to verification through email

Thank you

Hi. Yes, 0601 and 0621 fit. But 0621 seems to fit more into your JD. I have looked at your JD and highlighted above (in red) the NOC 0621 duties that seem to correlate.

1. Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or of departments in such establishments
2. Manage staff and assign duties
3. Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
4. Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
5. Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
6. Develop and implement marketing strategies
7. Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
8. Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
9. Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff

Please is it possible to submit statement of result and/or transcript to CIC? i already confirmed statement of result is accepted by WES but the next phase where all documents are to be submitted including that gotten from WES (i think, as i havent started the process yet, just gathering info first). My reason for asking is because i plan on using my Msc (from UNIBEN) to apply but my original certificate wouldnt be ready till next year, tho i have both statement of result and transcript.

The question you have written about is not detailed enough for one to know if your essay should be written as an opinion essay, a discussion essay or an opinion/discussion essay. This will determine the body of the essay. Kindly write out the question the way it was asked.
Your introduction paragraph looks good but there are quite a number of red flags in the body paragraphs mostly in terms of the structure. So like I said earlier, let's get the exact question so we know if u are to discuss the question or give your opinion or do both.

You have 6 weeks from the test date to apply, so you can arrange it well.

You should reproduce the question, so that we know how to assess your essay.

Even without seeing the question, I need to ask whether you have seen the IELTS requirements for getting a 7? They are: Task Achievement, Coherence & Cohesion, Lexical Resource & Grammatical Range and Accuracy. It may be good to understand these requirements before writing any essay.

It will be very helpful to plan what you're going to write and mentally travel through your points before putting pen to paper. I am not sure this was done before you wrote this essay, because I see a lot of ideas all over the place, which I'm not sure were fully developed.

Your points and presentation do not cohere with the theme you're addressing (by this I mean that there is no flow or progression to your write-up). I cannot read it once and grasp the point, I have to go over like twice to make meaning of what you're saying. For instance, the word 'Besides' in Paragraph 2 suggests to me that you have made a point earlier which is negatived/neutralized by the point that comes after 'Besides'. In my view, 'Besides' cannot begin a paragraph if you have not made a previous point.

I think you also chose what I consider a technical essay. I was praying not to meet this 'outweigh' essay because I think it requires some skill to write it impressively within the context of IELTS. Please start with the simple essays and grow into essays like this one.

If it is possible, I suggest that you reschedule the test. This will allow you time to fine-tune your approach to the essay and get valuable help and insight from folks like ladymarshall, wasseynewest or johnnybravo1990. I think you have come out too late to be able to make any concrete adjustments to your plans and have someone tutor you. The tutors on here are quite busy and it takes a while for them to review and revert on essays submitted to them.

Disclaimer:
I AM STILL AWAITING MY IELTS RESULTS, SO I HAVE NO SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE IN THIS MATTER, JUST MY THOUGHTS WHICH YOU ARE ENTITLED TO DISCARD.

All the best.

Sorry for the delay..... I need to add sauce to the gist ni jare.....

Guys!!!!! It's PPRRRRR!!!!!

Alhamdulillahx3ce, robil al'amin

Am so excited. You might be wondering who is this but it's your boy(wasseynewest) pppprrrrrrr......yeeeaaahh

LOOONNNNNGGGGG POST ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!

So i decided am going to be the one to announce our ppr, Yes i just feel like It, so to the main gist.

Idea to japaa January 2018, actually one of my hubby's former boss that has successfully relocated in 2017 told him about express entry in 2017, he told me about it and the otondo me that hasn't travelled out of naija before was like..... so oo. I really wasn't interested at first cause I know nothing about the whole express entry stuff. Fast forward to Jan 2018 after my birthday which was Jan 17, bobo said we are going to do our passport o, that he has asked his uncle about how to go about it and he already collected the number of a man that's actually going to help us out there.

PASSPORT PROCESSING....JAN 18. We went with our two boys and spent the day there, the man wasn't of much help actually after we paid he said his going out(that was how he japaa) and handed us over to another officer there, that one no even say make him even come look our face, as people that came after us self were being smuggled in by the people they know, we were waiting on queue ni o, and uncle number don switch off, not even knowing we were suppose to go somewhere else first, where they will ask me and hubby few question about our family and children. Thank God one of my boys run go that side and as we were trying to catch him na im we run into the lady that did some photocopies for us downstairs in fact that was where we paid to the man, and even she self was surprised say we still dey, in short she was the one that sha told us about the interview and where we go enter do am, the woman that was to interview us self was angry say she don dey call us since, we sha Do the interview and left there. To cut the short story long, we were among the last batch they attended to and we left there, bobo(newest) was angry with the man anyways.

ECA: this wasn't that stressful plus WES have not started asking for WAEC then, apart from the fact that hubbys schools both ojere and ibadan over charged him as per say him be politician for school and their faculty president for poly ibadan, they charge am small. As for me being a product of a better by far university(unilorin) it didn't cost me much, I spent like 11500 or so plus courier and all and I gave the lady in charge 1k out of my free Will, I didn't even go there myself, I sent someone....so
My ECA. August 7
Hubby. August ending sha can't remember the date.

IELTS.....omg... the toughest but God came through for us Alhamdulillah, hubby already shared that testimony here so wouldn't be writting much on it before una say I too like story.
Hubby IELTS 6th attempt
L 8.5, W7, R 7, S 7 he's the PA.
ME L8 W6.5 R7 S7.5. We battled with IELTS from May 12 to Oct before the breakthrough.

PCC Newest got inspector moshood's no on this thread, he's quiet a funny man. It was a smooth and fast process.

MEDICALS: we were lucky enough to get an already booked date easily, hubby also met the guy on this platform. He announced on the thread that if there's anyone interested on the date because he couldn't wait again and that he is going for the IOM option, so we accepted the date and went for medical before ITA, It was smooth too we were the first to get there and got the no 1 tag for all colours. We finished around after 10.

POF;Not that easy but we thank God. My hubby' s uncle in the US helped with part of the payment and we did gift deed, also sold off some stuff plus bobo's salary that he's been saving up. Mehn.....this journey require a lot fund oooo.

REFFERENCE LETTER:
Hubby got his ref letter from previous company. Oh....in his present company he was unable to get the letter from the HR department on a letter head paper although one of his senior colleague(supervisor) was able to get his within 5days and told him how to go about, but we never hear anything. He later asked his supervisor to write for him on a plain A4 papper and added all the necessary addables- I don't know if the word is correct oo....you sha understand what i mean rai, I know you do.We submitted our application o in the hope that when the letter headed ref come we will raise a CSE to upload it and explain why it was late-- bad idea right(yes), that was newest idea but I discouraged him(beauty with brain), but I couldn't pass IELTS writting with that brain‍♀. The ref letter arrived two o weeks ago, must have been stuck on third mainland bridge hold up....
