That same Sunday morning, he had led a vitriolic sermon in church condemning Sports Betting and bettors, saving the most bile specifically for Bet9ja, claiming the business and all its users were “all sinners bound for hell”.

He was spotted by a congregant passing by the shop, who recognized him and yelled “PASTOR, YOU SEF DEY DO LIKE DIS?!”
