Mo Abudu just made history, as she became the first African to receive the Médailles d'Honneur in France. The Ebony Live CEO received the honor from MIPTV, a leading international market for content development and distribution, which honours senior executives for their significant contributions to the global television industry. Mo Abudu who became the first African to receive the Médailles d'Honneur, was handed the medal at a cocktail and awards ceremony which held in Cannes, France, at the InterContinental Carlton Hotelon Monday 8 April 2019.She tweeted; Camille Bidermann, Executive Director of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, presented me with my award last night. Thank you so much Camille for your words of inspiration. Much love. A major part of my acceptance speech was dedicated to the creative business leaders in the room and the need for a partnership between our respective continents, so that our stories can be told with authenticity and produced to the best international standards. https://unclesuru.com/2019/04/11/mo-abudu-becomes-first-african-to-receive-the-medailles-dhonneur/ 7 Likes

Her channel has a lot of good shows. My problem with it are the commercials. The commercials can show for sometimes a full fifteen minutes. She followed the British example, watching TV there most times is a fruitless effort. |
