Somebody paid the money they were using for evangelism. The schools your fathers went to were not built for free,the workers were paid.The teachers that taught in the school were paid. Where do you think the money came fro,it fell fro heaven right? Somebody's tithe and offering was used to provide education for our parents and that's why they don't offer you free education anymore. Missionary schools are about some of the most expensive schools in Nigeria right now because they offer quality education. Loyola Jesuit is a Catholic school, go and check how much they charge per annum. And lastly,go to Italy,the Vatican, UK(Methodist schools, Anglican schools), you'll realise they don't do free education,they may give scholarship to some very brilliant student. The reason they gave us free basic education was to FORMAT Ogun,obatala,ayilala etc from our lives and put Jesus in there,be smart please.

And by the way,they didn't even need to collect Tithe from the people back then,they had access to our resources.

The author is clearly trying to attack Daddy Freeze and make his words worthless. I don't care if Daddy Freeze is guilty of the above or not because I don't see him as a saint, but what I respect him for is his courage to attack exploiters posing as men of God. Problem with religion is we are scared of going against our clerics even when we have a feeling they are wrong

I don't believe I have to give ten percent of my earnings to my pastor for me to be blessed. God is my father, a loving father won't threaten to impoverish his children if they don't part with their income. Tithing means giving a bribe, you cannot bribe God!

Giving Tithe in your perspective is giving to men of God, but that's not right.
God himself requires your Tithe;

Malachi 3:8-18 King James Version (KJV)
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it......(read to vs 18)

When you begin to see it as God's own then you will give it irrespective of who you feel might be physically collecting it because God Himself commands it.

Let God be the judge of Everyman, just do what is right.

Tithe is not by force or anything sir and secondly the bible is the way of God not man so you don't have to try to find a logical explanation to it.. God said my ways are not your ways so is my thought is not yours because as high as the heaven is from earth so is his thought from ours. No pastor has ever forced anybody to pay tithe pls and the idea that because pastor ride jets this and that is meaningless.... It's amazing how we quickly judge men of God for living a good life and some worshipper are not..

Old things are passed away, all things have become new. Tithing is of the old world, no wonder apart from the book of Malachi in the old testament, pastors can't buttress the point.

Please note that when Abraham paid tithe there was no scriptural backing as when he did it, but was not condemned by God. Please don't mis-quote the bible , which old things have passed away? Old things have pass away is about doing away with sinful way of life. If old things as you say have passed away why are you still circumcising? Which is only affirmed in old testament

Check your facts well someone from there home country paid for it. the Gospel is free but not cheap
