Not particularly happy with the heavy involvement of religion in African politics. I think politics should be completely secular as obtains in the West. I no send Oyedepo, the Redeem guy, Zakzaky, MURIC dude or any other religious leader interfering partisanly in politics or trying to give a Christian or Islamic slant to our national politics.

I therefore do not have time for them or what they have to say and feel it is a shame they have so much influence on an over-religious people i.e Nigerians. For me it is about political offices capable of tranforming lives and nations.

While I accept religion is a big deal on these shores, it is not my big deal. In fact I am a Christian but can't even say I am particularly religious. Nigeria is the most religious nation on earth yet look where we are. Does not appear God and Allah are listening so why not face matters we can control like politics and choosing who will lead us?
