President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with Pascal Gabriel Dozie, Founder of Diamond Bank PLC and former Chief Executive Officer, on his 80th birthday

The president in a statement released by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina joined his friends, family and business associates to celebrate his years of lofty achievements.

President Buhar also commended the astute businessman’s entrepreneurial spirit, resilience in pursuing investments and willingness to always serve the nation with his experience and wisdom in diverse fields.

While saluting Dozie’s deep sense of patriotism, visionary leadership, and lifestyle of showing love for humanity, particularly the underprivileged, Buhari noted his leading roles in co-founding and partnering at African Capital Alliance, founding Kunoch Limited and serving as Chairman, Board of Trustees of African Development Foundation.

The President said he believed Dozie’s investments in the country and its citizens will always be remembered by posterity as he turns an octogenarian, praying that God will continually grant him good health and wisdom.

We Are With You’ Union Lauds Buhari for Regular Payment of Pensions
President Muhammadu Buhari has been commended on Thursday by the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) on for regular and prompt payment of pensions.

Abel Afolayan, NUP’s President, made the commendation at a one-day interactive forum organised by the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) for pensioners from the North Central Zone in Abuja.

The forum was to interact with ‘senior citizens’ on the progress made so far and to find ways to address challenges confronting pension administration.
