Investmentfreak, rather than going to Togo, why not go to Cotonou Benin republic.Cotonou is also like Lome but closer to home and more friendly as majority of them now speaks English. All what the other guy said about Togo is still applicable to Cotonou but the difference is that Cotonou is closer to naija Incase u want to just breeze in naija, also majority there speaks English and their women also speaks little English and Yoruba , mostly people in Port Novo.u can get a nice self-contained apartment for 30,000 cfa ,you pay like 4 or 6months advance, you pay light and water bills advance and off you pack in.As for business, there are alot you can do there just as mentioned by the guy in Togo. Please be careful of their girls o,they love Nigerians very well not because they know how to love, but because they feel we have the cash to spend.Very beautiful set of people with big asses.I stayed 3 years there and was able to learn small French before I proceeded forward.

Hahahahaha ok o but remember that the bigger the ass,the bigger the money ..... Cotonou is lovely I tell you with fresh natural fair looking ladies, though they have dark skinned ones also but in all, they are okay.I forgot to tell you that if you package yourself well, the ladies would be running after you.It happened to me but I overcame them with the blood of the lamb.

After all being said sha, just keep in mind that naija dey learn for juju when it comes to Cotonou and Togo. So be very careful about women because they can use their juju to hold you down and you might not even recognize the road to naija again lol.
Na we wey sabi know how to avoid such.

Very well my brother. Very very well. If you mean N500,000 which is about 750,000cfa franc then for sure you are very good to go.

You can start a good restaurant or bar. You can also decide to join the clothing importation business which is one of the major thing most Nigerians do here. Na we get the market.

But business really depend on what you will be comfortable and enjoy doing. Like I import clothings and supply bulk wholesale to Ghana.
Bro please I intend moving to togo soonest. I will love to get some vital inof from you. Can i have your email or contact number?

I want to relocate to Togo please can I have ur number
Any business you intend to do is fine, the only problem you will have is language barrier. A taxi business might move I don't know because bike (okada) is moving very well here so private taxi I can't say. Most people use bike or normally taxis doing the routes with plenty passengers inside.
Expect you want to find a driver that will run the taxi because if its you, it will be hard except you can speak French.
