Good morning peeps,I recently acquired a PS4 and lo and behold the first day I fired it up to do the PlayStation Network registration I noticed that by the time I was done my phone received a text that my data is almost used up and I should buy some soon,checked my phone data and I was perplexed all the more to than 5gig I had initially has been sucked by the PS4 despite the fact that auto download wasn't enabled in settings menu, but somehow games update and Dlc downloaded regardless of this precaution, and unfortunately from my search through the web people say there's little you can do to stop this trend. So I'm asking how do PS4 owners in Nigeria deal with this anomaly cause data is limited over here especially if you're using GSM networks and I really need to play with my PS4 especially online multiplayer games but I'm afraid it might cost me an arm and a leg in data cost,really need your advice. |

Get an ISPN Mifi or router with an unlimited night plan and do your Downloads at night or get an unlimited 24/7 plan. The cost just playing video games in Nigeria is high. There is no way around it, you just have to. 1 Like |

Online gaming doesn't take that much data ...at least from the games I play every now and then . 1gb smile will last for a while . Don't know about other games Sha ...I could be worng about other games as I only play UFC 3 online . It's the downloads of updates and games that consume a lot of data . Buy smile for online gaming and any other ISP for downloading depending on your location bro... |

There is a plan which Swift 4G LTE have 3000 naira for 3gb and unlimited at night for 15days. 3gb to use during day, unlimited start from 11pm to 8am, while weekend is unlimited from Saturday 11pm to Sunday 5pm. No speed throttle. Even if you exhaust your 3gb for day browsing, your night unlimited will still work . |
