Fkhalifa:Spurs having a better season Than us? Like seriously? Have they won any cup? Are they 25 points ahead of us? Bros see ehn this thing just be like person wey get 3.49 cgpa dey talk say he dey ahead of person wey get 2.50 for university. Everybody know say na 2.2 the two of dem dey. If they both graduate at that point they end up with a second class lower certificate and will surely be turned out for a job role that requires a second class upper graduate. As of today arsenal is in the europa league quarter finals trying to qualify for the semis and Tottenham is trying to do.same in the champions league. The two teams are fighting to win a place in the next year champions league by finishing top 4 in the league. This is a fact! And for the talk about son's goal against Chelsea, it seems u don't just appreciate simple stuffs. You want everything extra. Lacazette score a nice goal against spurs, abeg why run 50yards to score when you can easily shoot in the box and hit Ur target? Like I said earlier lacazette and Auba may be going few rough times, that doesn't make them bad at all! They've given us goals in some vital ties we should dwell on that and not just keep focusing on the negatives. |

iPopAlomo:I really want to see Elneny go. That guy sincerely hasn't earned half of what he's been paid since he joined. I don't just know why Ìwobi can't shoot to save his life. |

BlueRayDick:Remove Hazard from Chelsea and replace him with your best player, will he carry Chelsea the way Hazard has been doing for us this season? The answer will open your eyes to what the guy was telling you. |

BlueRayDick:How we measure success/good performance maybe different. If I were a spurs fan, I'd rate our season good enough, they didn't spend a dime, even had to change stadium over and over yet still giving it a fight at the top level, I remembered how new Emirate stadium used to be our escuse. Rejoicing over hard struggle to beat Rennes, Bate isn't what I want for my Arsenal. Trophy is for bragging Rights, for me, I like to see my team give me joy at the big stage. Spur's done it well over the last 2/3 years, drawing inform Madrid at bernabue, beating a Ronaldo Madrid 3-1 in Wembley, getting to this stage of UCL despite being the underdog against the Inter,barca,Dortmund.. Now a chance to get city out, I felt envious of their fans that night. That's the level I want my Arsenal, they might be in the top4 fight with us, but Arsenal fans worldwide can't be comfortable of us displacing them. That almost snatched a point at Anfield, we on the other hand were shattered. I'm not saying laca and Auba are bad, but they don't fill me with confidence especially when the game gets cracky. |

BlueRayDick:What I said initially was until we start recruiting players with physical/mental strength and ability to drive and run fearlessly at opposition in the tough games,we won't compete at the big stage. Chelsea have one in hazard, and he's the reason Chelsea are still in it, they have won trophies and beat big teams over the past few years with him, they may not be at the big stage because sarri is making a big blunder with the usage of kante. Ozil had his prime days between 2010-2016, Baba's achieved big,no motivation again should leave stage for younger ones ![]() I didn't say Chelsea sit comfortably. |

airmark:Nice one bro, Hazard is a game changer/winner, see his goal against Liverpool in Carling cup, see that quicklightning run, see the run at westham defence, very fearless and magical. Is it Auba or ozil you expect to come in and win us a game? With their usual soft slow passes and flicks? I hope he understands me. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 6:10pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
airmark:Arsenal doesn't depend on one player to win matches. At least this has been the case since RVP left. I understand Perfectly well Hazard has been doing quitw well for Chelsea and he's their best player. I called him out because he opined Arsenal with hazard slitting through west ham defence was the best thing he's seen all season when I watched Diego Jota take Luke Shaw to the cleaners and scored a beautiful goal about 2 weeks ago. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 6:16pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:You really need to decide on what you want bros. One minute you want arsenal to win the league the next minute u want them.to be like spurs, u want them to have players like spurs who hasn't won any trophy in the past 10 years. You see u keep choosing wrong teams for arsenal to learn from. Spurs? Dem never sign those mentally, physically and trophy-cally players when arsenal win the fà cup back to back? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 6:19pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:So u no watch ball during the few games unbeaten run we had this season when Emery will make just two subs at half time when we are trailing and end up winning the game àbí?. Wetin dem.dey call that one? No be game changing subs? The players that were introduced no be game changing players again? Maybe we should just offer Solskjaer contract to come out of retirement and be our super sub if na wetin our problem be now na |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 6:26pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:Well.maybe u didn't use comfortably, but believe me they ain't sitting. At least not when they still have loserpool to box and man utd to fight gidigbo with. The fact remains no matter the names u choose to call the current Arsenal players, they still have a top 4 battle.to fight with Chelsea, spurs and man utd. And that sums up their respective seasons. None of them has surpassed each other till 2 qualify and the rest two go to Eropo league. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkhalifa(m): 7:12pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
BlueRayDick:Any team can make subs and snatch a result, I'm talking of a game winner or changer like a v.persie, fabregas rosciky etc who can by their individual brilliance bail you out. Bringing in fresher legs or correcting errors he made from line up isn't what we saying. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkhalifa(m): 7:17pm On Apr 12, 2019*. Modified: 7:36pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
BlueRayDick:You are mixing things up and it's tiring, we currently don't look like winning the league, but at least give us joyful and make us confident and hopeful for better future which the spurs are doing ATM. Fa cup and Carling cup doesn't show strength of team. Anyone can have soft fixtures. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 8:06pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:Our focus should be on building a team to beat and not one game changer that won't always work. We should focus on having a team with depth. Look at Man city, no dey concerned about any game changer whatsoever. All these talks of individual game changer Don follow 1990's and early 2000's go ó. We've seen fairly unknown teams breaking into the limelight doing things on This century. Teams like RB Leipzig, Leicester no carry all this game changer matter for head before they made name for themselves. And yes, a coach is not a computer. He's human and will make mistakes. Correcting them is what makes him a better coach. I've watched Wenger despite making mistakes still wait till 80th minutes before making subs. Abeg give Emery accolades for trying to make amends to his mistakes at half time. |

Fkhalifa:I hate to break the news to you, but spurs have been giving this same display since poch took over with nothing to show for it. And they might probably still be in that behavior for the next few years. While they have been giving their fans hope of better future, arsenal has won about 3 FA cups if I'm right. I beg you in the name of God no just dey use Spurs and Arsenal in the same sentence at all. As for soft fixtures, I don't even know what to say to you on that. We've seen MK Dons eliminate Great great Manchester united before, we've seen so many other big teams lose in cup matches you would've considered soft fixtures. Oga mi, when it comes to cup matches you either win or get eliminated. I'm sure you think the season arsenal eliminated man utd in the FA cup it was a soft fixture too, or facing Chelsea in the final is the softest final one can imagine. |

Fkhalifa:No true fan was happy about that Everton loss, but we can't all start being pessimistic and thinking not making top 4 is beacuse our strikers aren't scoring enough when obviously our defenders aren't doing any better jobs too |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkhalifa(m): 8:58pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
BlueRayDick:Well, I chose this state of mind to avoid being hurt and start ranting later on or pretend to be fine. I've seen us several times bottle it, Atlectico 10 men from 12mint, we still drew them and got bullied by Costa, partey and co, I wanted a befitting end for Wenger but the boys aren't capable. We needed a draw to maintain our 3rd position and be ahead of spurs, what more can be motivating? We went down from 12th mint, and couldn't hit more than once on Target, Everton had 7 shots on Target mustafi, sokratis and Leno saved us, but defence is still the problem. We couldn't hit the bar, scare them not to talk of score for 70minutes. And we had attackers? |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:33pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:1.You talked about game changer, I pointed it out to you that having a team with depth is far more better than relying on a game changer like hazard you yarn for 2. You talked about Emery bringing in fresh legs to correct errors he made initially is not a fantastic idea, but I disagree with that because we've seen Wenger made such mistakes and didn't even correct them till it was too late. How then do you say my response does not tally with Ur post? ![]() |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:34pm On Apr 12, 2019 |
Fkhalifa:Well maybe we should just play Champions league and Epl alone and shun all other cup matches henceforth then. It's just like saying u don't need an elective course in the university system even when it's obvious a 5 point grade in that course can tilt you towards first class. Just look at city, they have one domestic cup already, in the final of another, and on course to win the league. Now if they win those 3, they would've earned themselves domestic treble. You think anybody would be saying that statement of 'FA cup not being a true show of strength' in guardiola's face? |

BlueRayDick:Mourinho and gaurdiola attached too much importance to those competition because of fortune spent by their respective employees, those teams, Chelsea& city lacked history,so fans and owners want to celebrate anything. The great Fergie and Wenger didn't rival much on it then, the rivalry was on EPL and Europe, maybe Fa cup a little. Wenger fergie used not to priotise those competition, they field in kids until it gets to semis. City have fired coaches over the years despite winning those competition, just because the UCL or EPL wasn't bagged. City will likely fire Pep if he doesn't deliver in Europe, even pelegrini got to the semis but still got axed. Klopp hasn't won anything, we don't see nor hear stuffs like him being sacked compared to other managers, This is so because he took Liverpool to a stage bigger than the former managers, his side digging it at big stage and brings much exciting moments for them with hope and belief of facing any team. At this rate Liverpool aren't scared of any team in Europe, should they even lose a game, I bet you they will lose like a matyr, unlike our series of heavy defeats. Monaco,Ajax are getting big recognition, thier players getting signed in Europe today's because of their exploit at the big stage. I am not saying fa cup or Carabao isn't important but not enough to rate strength of a team. You can't be doing well in your secondary school but start chickening out in WAEC. Earlier in the season, even most fans voted for top4 than facup. The big news in England now is race for top4. |

Fkhalifa:So many assumptions and beer parlor talk in one post. Make we no long this talk anymore Jàre. But am glad u changed Ur mind from saying No Arsenal player can score Son's kinda goal to agreeing Lacazette had scored something similar against Loserpool. You can always criticize the players when they are not performing/ when they dish out shabby performance(afterall they get paid hundred of thousands in dollars every month) but don't rubbish the good deeds they've done in the past while doing so ![]() |

BlueRayDick:I was aware of laca's goal when bringing that son's goal up. I want to see my Arsenal at the top, I don't get moved by the "good deeds" that paper over the cracks. There's a standard every individual Fans want and verdict remains the same, get in tough talented men who will take us to the next level( competing for the league,a team confident of ending intop4 and make us proud in Europe) and not beating Chelsea today , play and lose to west ham in a such a weak insipid manner, being raped by the big teams in Europe. |

Keky:I have every reason to be pessimistic, no be the same Arsenal? I've already set 6 transfer windows for myself, that's what klopp had, if the board can't bring in the right set of players within that period of time, I'm done! I don't enjoy it, I couldn't have fallen in love with this Arsenal side, I miss the 2007/08 season, from then we have always been stagnating. I watch other teams in Europe and I see difference in quality and desire. |
