Nairalanders are cowards. Only commentary and memes no action. A 22 year old through social media energized a base and drove the most important protest in their history but here, they energized 'likes' and 'mentions'. Sic!

If you think we will make it better for you then you will be decieving yourselves. Strength is in the youths and power to cause change is significant in the young.

Nwaamaikpe!

I challenge you. Just initiate one movement, protest or whatever against this country, and see if we will not support you...

this will never happen in this government or it's like because the majority love the government. Whatever u will say is useless because we have seen what coup de ta does most especially in Libya and many countries, they are now desperate in need of a regime that is ever lesser autocratic but never find it,just try ur best to vote out a government u hate that's democracy.

I want to believe you are not Nigerian, maybe you are a foreign troll sent on this forum to destabilize our minds against our Nation.

Then, if you are Nigerian, I can bet you don't understand what you typed up there. Lemme explain what you typed up there for you:

You typed "when will this wave reach Nigeria my useless Country?". Well, you are actually telling us that your place of Origin is useless and so is everything that comes out of it. In other words you are telling us you are as useless as your place of existence.

You typed "a country of lazy, apathetic, hedonistic, docile cowards". Well, you are simply telling us that you are lazy, apathetic, hedonistic, docile & a coward. Why? Because you are also a product of the dirt you are describing.

Careful what you say about your own Country even when the situation is suffocating, always find your cool.

Moreover, online ranting changes not, true change lies within us, the individuals.

We Are Who We Claim to be.
thank u,i don't need to ask about ur tribe or religion all I know is that u are good and truthful ,u are not blind,u also called a spade with it's name. It's people like u we want as leaders but political looters never give such a chance.

See the way leaders are responding to public outcry unlike my country where bullets will be sent forth!
And what makes you think bullets weren't fired there as well? The leaders are only responding to the public outcry because the citizens gave them no other choice than to!

Unity of purpose.

In Nigeria, some bigots would have started a protest in support bc of tribal affiliation

Tribalism kee Nigeria well well
the elite has played that card well and deceived the masses

This is why Nigerians are hated and others cannot wait to kill them. Sudan is going through her trial times and the citizens are up in arms, protesting to secure their future.

After all the struggles, guess who show up? Nigerians!
Running away from their problem to move to enjoy the fruits of labour of those who dare to challenge their leaders. Will they even do it quietly? No! Like locusts, they invade. Then the xenophobic attacks start...and they cry foul.

And you think Sudan, a country with multiple wars and tens of warlords are not divided?
I think the problem is a lot of people in Nigeria are mentally sick, if everybody decides to rise up, there are some youths that would tell you we are better than Mali or Syria.
It's only in Nigeria that people claim they have 24 hours electricity 24/7 and the govt is the best thing that ever happened to them even when the government is apologizing for inefficiency
See bro every country has a peculiar situation. Nigeria is a very complex society but this isn't a social media conversation. The plain truth I have said , we are divided and also the illiteracy level is high. It will be difficult to come together as one to fight the kind of government we have in this country.
