A soldier was beaten to within an inch of his life, yesterday, April 16, 2019, by some street urchins trying to carry out jungle justice on a trailer driver who mistakenly killed a man in Lagos According to reports, the deceased, identified as Kola Mutiu aka "Black Jesus", was trying to collect money from the driver at Apapa boundary in Ajegunle, when he was knocked down. Kola was later confirmed dead at the hospital, prompting his colleagues to go after the driver, but a soldier stepped in to save the day. He however became the victim, as they unleashed terror on him and destroyed a military van.
