INEC server: Atiku calls Microsoft, IBM, Oracle to testify

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, is insistent that the Independent National Electoral Commission stored election results in a server and has said he will call Microsoft, IBM and Oracle experts to testify that he defeated President Muhammadu Buhari by over 1.6 million votes. Atiku gave the server name as INEC_PRES_RSLT_SRV2019 and its unique Mac address as 94-57-A5-DC-64-B9 with Microsoft Product ID 00252-70000-0000-AA535, in his fresh response to the reply of INEC to his petition.

The Punch reported that Atiku and the PDP will also be expected to tender INEC’s training manual on elections, a printout of the votes of candidates from smart card readers and a printout of the forensic audit report on INEC’s server as evidence. The former Vice-President and the PDP claimed to have polled a total of 18,356,732 votes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress who he said scored 16,741,430 votes. However, INEC’s Director, Information and Communications Technology, Mr Chidi Nwafor, in his witness statement on oath attached to the reply, specifically denied the “server results” which the PDP and Atiku claimed. He said all the results were collated manually and were never transmitted electronically.

Atiku, in his fresh response, said the figures he claimed to have scored were genuine. The reply read in part, “The servers from which the said figures were derived belong to the 1st respondent (INEC). The figures and votes were transmitted to the 1st respondent’s Presidential result’s server 1 and thereafter aggregated in INEC_PRES_RSLT_SRV2019 whose physical address or unique Mac address as 94-57-A5-DC-64-B9 with Microsoft Product ID 00252-70000-0000-AA535. The descriptions are unique to the 1st respondent’s server.”

Atiku is a desperate man looking for any possible loophole to have his claws on the National Purse, especially NNPC wallet.

If this lame attempt on hacking is Atiku's last hope, then the Dubai Plan is totally exhausted.

The behaviour of APC alone is enough to tell you that Atiku has a case.

I just hope these will be admissible in court.

International agency to come and testify in a matter affecting a sovereign nation with stipulated guidelines for electoral issues such as this? Atiku should rather exercise some discretion with his moves. Extending invitation to international agency may not be the best thing now

Which INEC ICT server runs on Window. I am just laughing. I don’t have anything against this man but he should stop discrediting the commission. Where did he even get the Mac Address that he is quoting. From product producers to server code for the presidential election up to MAC address everything wrong. I hope they are not misleading this man. I like him as a person but this attitude of bad mouthing INEC when you fail elections in Nigeria is very bad.

Guys, don't blame Atiku, he's a desperate man with money.

The best advice you can give a desperate and foolish man with money is for him to spend more money.

You call them because they're your house boys. Why not allow our homies to enjoy the money you've been spending since election till now

PDP settle with you because they believed you've money but unfortunately the money couldn't save them at the poll. If they leave the chairmanship structure to markafi and persuade him not to contest PDP wouldn't have settle with Atiku, they left the party structure to a boy boy wike's clerk he nominated one thief delta governor that don't have the idea of developing his state as chairman of primary election, now they're all crying all over the places

The truth Atiku can't win a case he lost at the poll
