I have been having sex since i was 14, if Anyone has sexual urges they should go And fu ck someone or a prostitute. I don't get married anytime i get an erection. even while i was married i was still fu king other women.

1) You could have gone to find the full video on YouTube to confirm that what happened was accurately reported, knowing how the media is wont to sensationalize things.
2) Even if it happened as reported, the twisted quote from her stated that she said that early marriage is not Islamic, and she would rather her child waited till adulthood.
3) If you had mental or emotional intelligence of the level required to participate in public discourse, you would have watched past videos to gain insight into Ny'mat, to know she wouldn't support the 55/6 child bride scenario you painted up there.

Let's not have a bunch of lousy kids claiming intelligence without actually working towards gaining intelligence.

For anyone who is after fact and not mischief, her response to whether she would allow her hypothetical 14 year old daughter get married was that she would exhaust other options to dissuade a child that is not of marriage age from giving in to sexual urges, but if that fails, she would rather have the child go on and marry than be engaged in premarital sex. While I don't personally subscribe to underage marriages (the focus here is where the age gap between both parties is reasonable, 1 or both is yet to reach the acceptable marriage age, and one is not an adult; child bride scenario as the 55/6 painted by OkunrinOloro), I see her point. Where we differ in our views is that I would like to think that I will be able to force that underage child from giving in, but you never know until you are faced with it. I can't rationalize allowing a child get married under any circumstance, but I also don't see premarital sex as THE cardinal sin as do most Nigerians (Christians or Muslims). I think premarital sex complicates relationships and makes it difficult to move on completely when it is over, and young people don't realize this when they are "in looove", but I don't look at it from the angle of sin. As to religion, I know of a Christian couple who took serious the Christian teaching against premarital sex, and got married as soon as they were both above 18, but waited years to have kids. The only difference in their case was that they made that decision to wait and respect the Christian teaching on their own. I don't see the sense in that because I don't know what is so crazy about sexual urge that cannot be controlled when one is not a dog or how a child can say they have sexual urge if they've been raised right and have not had the unfortunate experience of being sexually abused, but you never know until you walk in someone else's shoes. The Christian couple are still married, over a decade after, and still very religious.

Back to Ny'mat, she went on to explain what she thought was the "marriage age," and said it varies by society. Along the line, she mentioned that some states in the US allow kids as young as those in the case study get married with parental consent, as with Islamic culture. People have crucified her for that and claimed she does not know about US laws, when they just could have researched. Would a lawyer go on national TV to say what she has not researched?
