I am sorry that you feel judged, as that was not my intention. And no, I don't think I am morally superior.

But I insist that having slept with give or take 150 partners fits the label. Unfortunately it is mostly used to describe women because of how most societies are. You and I know darn well that if your comment came from a female, she would have been taken to the cyber gulag, for example. Also, it is only fair that you marry someone with the same/similar outlook/history, so that there'll be less judgement or comparisons, do you not agree? Maybe colleague was a wrong choice of word, cohort should have been used.

I have since curtailed my sexual recklesness, as you put it. people would hardly know that i ve slept with that much women unless i tell them. I could still get married to some one who isn't Similar to me, but fortunately for that would be someone similar to me Marriage isn't for me. I wouldn't want to put Any woman through my infidelity. Though i could still care for and respect Any woman.

In my opinion, no singular act that a person takes makes him/her a bad person. Maker of bad choice(s), at least that one instance? Sure. I believe that we have/will all made/make one or two bad choices in our lifetime. But I think the intentions behind our actions, even when the actions turn out to be good, can be indicators of how good or bad a person we are.

It's good to know that you have turned away from your old ways. I am reminded of 1st Corinthians 13:11 of the Bible, which states that: "when I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." Unfortunately, many are stuck in the childish ways even when we become adults.

It is also good that you have come to the realization that marriage is not for you and chosen to spare others. I wish more people will get to the realization that marriage is not for them, if it is not for them, or at least that it is not for them at the current point in their life, rather than getting into marriage to fulfill all societal righteousness, and causing their partners pain.
