Still don't understand why a president will be commissioning projects yet to be completed. It's really stupid tbh. Why not complete project first, then he commissions. And if he can't make it, he sends a delegate

The traffic will be terrible tomorrow angry.
I better put in a request for leave today at work.

By the way, that oshodi interchange is not yet complete as at Thursday I passed oshodi, why is Ambode commissioning an uncompleted project

They keep concentrating important infrastructures in a particular area. The maternal and child health institute should have been built somewhere else to enable development in other parts of Lagos

Most sensible post.. Most of these infrastructure should be spread around areas that are still developing like badagry, ayobo, etc to serve as growth pole for those areas. Ikeja is already a well developed area.. Why build more infrastructure in it and leaving other places lacking?

Someone please inform this useless president about the current state of the Ikeja Terminal he 'commissioned' the last time he shut down Lagos.

There's a special section of hell reserved for Nigeria's 'leaders'. Buhari will soon tie white cloth and head to Mecca for spiritual tourism, it's close to that time of the year already.

I hope he is not coming to commission uncompleted projects o? The Oshodi Interchange is uncompleted. The Murtala Mohammed Airport Road is uncompleted. I don't want the President to carry scissors near any of the projects.

No wonder Ambode instructed the Ministry of Works to start emergency road fixing. Shame on you Ambode! Shame!!!!!!

TRAVEL ADVISORY

His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari shall be on an official visit to Lagos State on Wednesday, 24th April, 2019, during which a number of state projects shall be commissioned.

As a result of the presidential visit, motorists and the general public are hereby notified of roads where traffic diversions are going to be observed in order to have a hitch free movement for Mr President, and for motorists to plan their journey in advance.

The presidential visit shall be between the hours of 9.00 am and 3.00 pm during which traffic shall be diverted from the following roads: Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way (coming from the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed Airport to LASUTH Under Bridge), Kodesoh Road, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Kudirat Abiola Way, Ikorodu Road (between Ojota Intersection and Anthony Interchange), Oworonshoki - Apapa Expressway (between Anthony and Oshodi Transport Interchange), International Airport Road to the Local Wing of the airport to Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way back to Obafemi Awolowo Way.

While other roads highlighted above shall only be cordoned off once when necessary, Obafemi Awolowo Way and portion of Mobolaji Bank-Anthony shall be closed to traffic on three (3) occasions within the specified period as they are central to the President's itinerary.

In view of this, motorists are advised to avoid these roads where necessary and make use of alternative routes of their choice. But where it becomes inevitable for the highlighted roads to be made use of, patience and cooperation with traffic managers should be the watchword.

While all inconveniences as a result of these diversions are highly regretted, traffic managers (or enforcement & security agents) shall be positioned at all strategic intersections to allow for orderly vehicular movement.
