There is high tension currently at the main gate of National Assembly in Abuja as members of Islamic Movement Of Nigeria (IMN) popularly known as Shi’ites have forced their way into the assembly complex and chased away armed policemen on duty.

Members of the movement were initially peaceful in their conduct although they were chanting anti-government songs from outside the gate.

But situation turned awry when some of them suddenly descended on the gate, shaking it vigorously until they succeeded in forcing it open, almost causing a stampede because of the crowd.

Some of the policemen attached to the gate tactically took to their heels, as the protesters trooped in with chants of 'Alahu Akbar'.

It took the appeal of leaders of the movement to stop the crowd from advancing into chambers of the assembly proper.

Despite provocation by the protesters, the Police remained calm and peaceful, and only pleaded with them not to go into the chamber.

Daft comparison, Shiites are fanatical in their ideology and like your typical Islamic group are largely prepared to be matyred if need be , IPOB is just a secessionist organization with nothing close to the fanaticism you will find in the Islamic groups. The same Shiites you are extolling already have the framework and impending spark to become another Boko haram ready unleash disaster on people if provoked beyond limits... IPOB isn't that fanatical, at least not yet... But it doesn't take too much to make a fanatic out of a man who has been pushed to the wall way too many times... add a gun and an ideology to the equation , then you have yourself a mad man ready to kill or be killed.
