1) The US Army War College run a 10 month full time on campus educational and professional training for senior military officers and they are awareded Masters in Strategic Studies at the end of the programme.
The programme will take 24months for part time/long distance students.

2) Military and certain professional officers undergone series of training/academic courses in special instructions , the cummulative course contents of which can be equal to or greater than first degrees.

With appropriate evaluation of the transcripts from these institutions, you can can proceed (directly or with PD diploma) to do Masters degree without having a Bachelor's Degree.

There is a difference between a Degree , a certificate course and a certification

1. A degree is awarded by a University or Academic higher instituition of learning. With specified number of credit units needed for you to graduate over several semesters.

2. A certificate course is also offered by a university or higher instituition lasting anything from 3 weeks to even 9 months in a specific discipline but its in no way a degree.

3. A certification is offered by a proffessional body as proof of competence and knowledge in that area. ICAN , ACCA SHRM CP.

1) The US Army War College was founded in 1901.

2) From 1901-2000 it awarded post graduate diplomas in strategic studies.

3) In the year 2000 it began awarding masters degrees in strategic studies (MSS).

4) Buhari graduated from the US Army War College in 1980, therefore he was not awarded a masters degree, rather he was awarded a diploma.

He earned Master's Degree at Bradford University through Research Works. This is NOT a fraud. There are different types of Masters.




So courses and training in different Military Academies can't amount to First Degree?


The e-mail you qouted is a fraud. I wonder how you can believe such crap.
That you seriously assumed that one random Sunday Iwalaiye will just send an email to the US War College requesting for academic records of a Fellow of the College and the College Secretary will just forward a response email to him just like that? You need a formal approval of an alumnus before you can be given his academic records in an institution unless compelled by a court or the requesting authority is also an academic institution demanding for academic records of a prospective student from his previous college/University.


Even the response is not the usual styles of response from academic institutions. The Qualification is unspecified (Diploma in Infantry Tactics or Diploma in Military Signal Communications or Military History?) and unclassified (with ordinary pass or with distinctions)?.

Anyone that is well familiared with correspondence with Academic institutions will easily know that this is fake.

Furthermore, check the e-mail!
