The former governor of Abia state and billionaire businessman, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu who recently embarked on the week long trip on the 18th of April touch down at ththe Akanu Ibiam Airport, Enugu earlier today, Thursday April 25 aboard his customised N7 OUK private jet aircraft, Igbere Tv reports.

Igbere Tv had earlier reported that Dr. Orji Kalu had met with Thabo Mbeki, the ex President of South Africa in Johannesburg where the duo discussed on pertinent issues especially how to end the xenophobia attacks by the country onto their fellow Africans.

Orji Kalu was received at the airport terminal by his personal aides which among others includes Rev. Jemimah Ola Kalu former Abia State Permanent Secretary & DG of his Senatorial Campaign, Dr. Frank Osita Chuks and a waiting convoy deployed by Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Thousands of supporters of Dr. Kalubtrooped to the airport to welcome in jubilation and celebration the Abia North Senator-elect.

Dr. Kalu later joined the convoy and headed straight to the Enugu state Lion Building Government House where he was received by Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Governor of the state.
