Dannyset:Why are you contradicting yourself, You know too well the NASS is not a rubber stamp so why will the party and the Presidency anoint someone for that Position. Question you should be asking yourself is what are the duties of the NASS, if it is to check the activities of the Executives how then could that happen when their anointed servant in head that arm of Government, most times we want our country to be like the west in terms of development, but the process to get us there we dont follow, it is people like you and your ways of doing things that is taking this country backwards not the likes of Saraki and co, but people like you. |

Chimaokigwe:kwara people will beg to have saraki back after this 4 years. saraki may not be a saint but replacing him with propaganda is the worst thing a state can wish for. politicians with no clear plan who ran and won election only by attacking the failure of those in power always end up the worst form of leaders on Earth |

Mk93:This kind of talk can only come from someone who has never enjoyed good governance in his life. What did Saraki do for Kwara? They removed a kleptomaniac and his puppets and you're talking nonsense. Why didn't you go to Kwara and vote him in? Mention 5 thinks Saraki did for Kwara. |

Mk93:They don't decide, they lobby. Because Buhari refused to influence it, miscreants like Saraki took over. Now Buhari would ensure the APC's candidate takes the seat and you Pdp clowns can cry yourselves to death. |

Maghan37:Theresa May brexit deal was voted down by MPS from her own party. even some cabinet members appointed by her are openly criticizing her deal. Republicans control the US Senate but most times republican senators side with Democrats to openly vote against Trump with no fear of witch-hunt. that is why they are developed while we are $hit-hole |

Chimaokigwe:he's written his name with gold in the history book of the ZOO. power is transient so no one remains in power forever. Saraki couldn't have risen to the post of senate president if he didn't "Saraki" APC in 2015. as kwarans have rejected saraki let's see when next kwarans will have a say in national politics. let's see when a kwarans will be Senate president, speaker of the house of reps, vice president, ruling party chairman, etc. fact is that for kwarans saraki dynasty has the brightest chance of producing a Nigerian president than any other tinubu errand boys in Kwara who'd be glad serving their masters while every juicy positions go to Lagos. Kwarans have the chance but they blew it. Saraki will be back come 2023 when PDP will take over central government but will have to rework his way back to the top which will take Years. Kwarans will regret going against saraki |

[s] searchlight:[/s] If Nigeria is a zoo, your parents living in the zoo are what? That being said, Saraki is a casualty of politics, a political corpse. He is a failure cos he listened to people like you. Kwarans won't regret, it is Igboland that lacks sensible leaders who would regret. |

kaen1317:Look at what this Ipob piglet is saying? Saraki did not "pepper the Govt", what ignorant people like you dont know that the disruptive action of Saraki and his gang caused a lot of suffering for the ORDINARY NIGERIAN. Many programs that would have benefitted the Nigerian, the Business and companies (like quick passage of the Budget) were frustrated by Saraki. Who is suffering it? Is it buhari or the ordinary Nigerians like you? You guys from the South East are so "self destructive", that you prefer to cut-off your nose, just to spite your face! ![]() |

The executive should allow legislators vote their choice. |

Mk93:Please STOP lying! ...otherwise l will say you are IGNORANT. Republicans vote solidly behind Donald Trump otherwise all those rubbish he is doing will never see the light o day and FYI, Democrats hold the majority in the Senate at this moment. Theresa May's problem with her party members is that she has deviated from what they voted for...Brexit, even without an agrement. May wanst to be remembered as the PN who "delivered brexit", even if what she delivers is a Brexit that stil put the UK under the EU, this is what her party members are against. Finally, the whole Brexit issue is a foolish, self-destructive move borne out of racism and ultra-nationalism of hatred for immigrants. it reminds one of how the Ibos are always against anything the Govt of Buhari does, because their thinking and rationale is governed by "Anger and Hatred". ![]() |

searchlight:Currently, the Minsister for information is from kwara and so are at least 23 others, twenty of which were nominated by that thief Saraki himself, when he was in the APC. Kwara is not the only state in Nigeria so dont expect them to be Senate President again till the other 31 states (minus the four Biafra states ) too can produce Senate Presidents. |
