Hello house,

For example i have a domian example.com. How do i create a domain like example.com/nairaland that will redirect to nairaland.com

I don't think what you want to do is domain redirection


You want to redirect back to HOMEPAGE and not from one domain to another.


To do this, you can create a file with the name (like nairaland.php for the example you used) and redirect back to home page from within the file.


You can also use htaccess for the redirection.

No much grammer, just create a folder in your host and you're good to go. Let's say your domain name is demo.com, so once you create a folder in your host file called example then you can access the "Example" folder using http://www.demo.com/example.

Are you redirecting from one domain to another or between the same domain?


The example you gave is within the same domain and the replies were based on that.


if its from a domain to a completely different domain( e.g demo.com to example.com), then you don't need to purchase hosting, and the method of redirection is completely different.
